Captains! β
π 2021 has come to an end. Together with you, we’ve been through ups and downs, opened up new horizons, and shared in the excitement of our common victories. The most daring solutions and ambitious undertakings lie ahead.
π Happy holidays! See you in our beloved game in 2022!
ππ
π Dear players,
The holidays are here and, as is tradition, the World of Warships team would like to extend the warmest Season’s Greetings to all our Captains and wish you well in the new year. This time, to be as close as possible, we decided to record our holiday video without dubbing so that we can talk to you in our own voices.

Thank you World of Warships (great to hear everyone’s non-dubbed voice) and a Happy New Year to all.
hearing everyone with their own voices is awesome, and well done all of you trying to pronounce all the words as well as possible, thumbs up from here <3
Well, this was my first year with World of Warships. Also fun fact, I started playing last Christmas!
May your shells, torpedoes, rockets and bombs always hit your target and happy New Year!
Happy New Year WoWs and to everyone in the community.
Great video and great to hear your actual teams voices rather then dubbed, personally I think you should do more videos without the dubbing as its great to hear as your team speak great English, much better then any Russian I can speak.
Happy New Year from chook_on_a_stick Australia (Asia server). Interesting year – to say the least. How’s that community going? I like your’re using your own voices, thank you for making the effort especially those of you who do not normally speak english. I hope we continue to see person to person communications and a level of authenticity similar to that apparently displayed in this video.
This was surprisingly pleasant. Happy new year to you all, thank you for the game and have a great life!
That was really wonderful! Thank you for the English version and I wish a blessed New Year for you all.
It looked like English was painful to speak for many of you! I can’t imagine trying all of your languages: Great Job!
How many native languages are spoken on the WoWs team? Now I’m curious… π
Best regards from Connecticut USA
Hearing Dasha speak English was a treat by itself , clearly she is learning and i understood every word she said. Good work keep it up.
Her English is better than my Russian could ever be.
Thanks for making this, having fun makes work a blast. Thanks for making the game great.
You guys worked so hard to communicate in English, it is appreciated! Happy New Year
Thank you so much for doing this without dubbing! Your voices were WONDERFUL! God bless and have a Happy New Year! From New York
Good decision to keep everyone’s voices. I Appreciate the effort.
Happy New Years everyone!
Great video with one comment: the part that said that may only good players enter your clans. I think WoWs has a big problem with bringing new players aboard the game. The learning experience needs to be addressed so that new players CAN become better players. It’s more than “just watch videos”. New players need to be taught the skills, need AI opponents that moderately challenge them, and a defined – better gated – passage from Coop to Random to Ranked. Elitism exists in all games/activities/life but a game’s lifeline are not just many new players but new players that then stay long term. A Happy New Year to all.
I am glad that the game is going in a positive direction, wish the WG team a happy New Year and a great year to come, I hope that the game will continue to become something that both the developers and the player base love and let’s grow our community base on it!
They should make a naval legends episode on Leyte Gulf, I really enjoyed the Pearl Harbor episode and I miss their cgi
I just want to commend the effort and work that all of you put into this video. English is not your native language and yet you help make us all feel welcome by putting so much effort to make this video in English.
