  1. I am only grinding coal for Unique Commanders. Nice video by the way , explains a lot actually.

  2. I agree, coal should be something that’s done passively and obviously not the main focus of playing, plus if you add things such as ranked and clan bonus it should cut the time required by a lot.

  3. If you use a discount coupon, things change a lot, I payed 185k coal for my smolensk, jsy my 2 cents 🙂

  4. Add chain missions in matrix.

  5. Tony Duffy, Ring Finder, Games and More

I don’t think of it as a grind. Just a bonus from just playing. Over a year with reasonably regular play and add the discount coupons you get every 6 months and the snowflakes event at Christmas time, you can pretty much pick any top tier coal reward ship you want. Steel is actually a grind though and extremely hard to obtain. I only play clan and ranked for the steel, otherwise I have no interest in them. I’m pleased to hear steel will be in daily missions in small amounts like coal in next patch, so that’s a bonus. Really want the Stalingrad. I spent steel on the Black, I think two years ago and now it’s going to be a coal ship. Real slap in the face to dedicated players from WG.
