In a stroke of luck in matchmaking, I have been placed in a match comprised of almost entirely of Tier 5s & 7s (only two tier 6s for either team). Spawned on the NW side of Fault Line with another cruiser and two DDs (they were crucial in covering for me), and from there both teams looked to push the western islands. The enemy team didn’t know how to back out of a fight, I’ll give them that. It seems that, regardless of tier, they are all willing to either charge at me with their DDs, or show me their broadsides with their CAs. While brave, that allowed me to kill them off in rapid succession (Kraken 4.5 minutes into the match), which ended the match relatively quickly. This match also showed the usefulness of hydroacoustic consumable on the Atlanta, I never touched the radar consumable once in this match.
Note: In addition to the Achievements shown below, I’ve also picked up the Fire Show special achievement for WoWS 1st anniversary event.
