Playing in my Bismarck with a tank build against unrelenting enemy CVs, was a interesting comeback and I enjoyed soaking up the damage. Hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll catch you next time!

  1. i have the tirpitz and will at some point grind for bismark, love my german battleships

    • TomHolmez12 don’t do it trust me Bismarck is only fun when you get blessed with MM I would say 80% of the time you are in tier 10 battles and can’t get within 12km of an enemy burning down at 17km from cruisers that you couldn’t hope to hit is no fun it was the worst ship I’ve had to grind through so far and this includes Konigburg

    • +Jay Laforge eh i got the tirpitz i just want it for my collection really

    • TomHolmez12 gotcha my favorite in the line was the Bayern so far I’m on the FDG right now. Pushing all three lines so far my favorite has been the Yorck.

    • Tirpitz hits what you shoot at, Bismarck just straddles everything.

+Jay Laforge Yeah Bayern and Gneisenau are great. I didn’t like the Bismarck too much because of the reason you mentioned.

  2. how about showing a realistic game which most of the time is a bottom tier for bismarck

  3. It was the second Salvo ? 😀

  4. Haha, fitting date to play the Bismarck 😀

  5. Bismarck can be a lot of fun when everything Lines up but majority of time you will be bottom tiered and trying to shoot a cruiser full broadside getting 1 pin and maybe two bounces every thing else just goes around the ship. I for one hate feeling like it doesn’t matter how well I play that the game gets to decide if do well or not due to rng.

    • This is one of the most RNG-dependent ships I’ve played. It seems like I either have a good game or hot garbage. Very little in between.

    • It’s my single biggest complaint with all “world of” games. In tanks, as arty, you find completely stationary targets, wait til fully zoomed in, aim circle is super tight, still misses. Going entire games without a single hit because all your rounds landed at the edge of your aim circle…….
The same with Wows. Being close to a broadside bb, in my Biz, under 8km away, them sailing half speed, aim mid-Hull and watching all my rounds land in the water on BOTH sides of the red…. Mean while I’ll be bow on to an enemy BB who is broadside and seeing all his rounds land center mass of my ship, nothing in the water…. RNG can suck a dick.

    • Skerra 1234 there’s only one way to guarantee a kill in the Bis ( Ramming Speed)

    > “tankiness build”
    > damage control cooldown unmodified

Notser, please don’t turn into the next Zoup.

  7. LUL, the true bismarck exeprience is being a t8 that really is a t7 facing t10 24/7

    • sonicruled 1111

+luis cuevas Did you not like all your low tier ships? Also how did you get one shot? Did you give too little angle or did the Yamato get you through the deck?

    • +sonicruled 1111 i sold like my tier 4 and 5 ships that i not longer play, and if im honest i have no idea how he did it, all of the sudden my ship just Kaboom

    • sonicruled 1111

+luis cuevas just note that getting one shot isnt a normal thing to happen, especially not on german battleships

    • Bismarck is fine for T8, unless CVs are everywhere it isn’t really scared of anything else at its tier. It can use its great armor and fast firing guns to bully out equal or lower-tier ships.

Bismarck suffers badly from two things though- iffy AA/deck protection and long range engagements.

Iffy AA means you’re a damage pinata for CVs, obviously. It can handle itself against a single T6 CV no problem, but struggles against even one T8 or especially T10 CVs.

Then there’s its issue engaging at range. Guess what the T10 meta is? Park at range and trade shots for 15 minutes. Really fun when your guns can’t hit in the same postal code 99% of the time.

    • Luis cuevas it sounds like a detonation u had. One shooting a bismarck isnt possible i think (something to try in the training room)

  8. old_rust_ bucket

The greatest matches are ones where close defeat is turned to around. This kind of victory tastes so much sweeter.

  9. Damn.. everyone abandoned their usual build and make it tank build cuz of these damn carriers. I feel pretty bad fpr the players cuz wg seems to be even more dumb now.

    • +sonicruled 1111 annnd that’s a bad thing because? A CV has a lot of crowd control power. Keeping a DD perma-spotted while raining death with no way to reciprocate is kinda unbalanced as well.
In WOT’s, arty need to rely on other tanks to spot for them. In Wows, most other ships rely on others for effective gameplay, but CVs are basically just solo players who can have a very strong influence on the beginning of the game with no consequence.
By reducing CV’s concealment, more pressure is put on CVs to keep moving and it gives the enemy team some ability to counter them earlier in the game. A DD still has to move up to get the spot, and by doing so put itself at risk because typically, that means they have no AA support. It also means less games where the final 5 mins are a blob of people looking for the last CV tucked into some corner of the map.

    • You could keep the plane spotting distance the same as it is now to reduce sniping

    • +Skerra 1234 How about a fuel limit for planes? The CV can choose to attack further targets but won’t get their planes back.

    • +Neil Birchall That could be interesting. Force the CV player to be more efficient with their flight wing instead of just loitering around and having to rely on team mate spotting so their flight plans are more direct and less about luck.

    • 689 mol entertainment

+sonicruled 1111 but then to be historically accurate CVs are supposed to be the effective ship

  10. Imjusttoo Dissgusted

I sold my bismark after grinding my butt off to get it. discovered i could rarely hit anything 10 k away and most folks know enough to stay out of secondary range. Plus, 9 of 10 battles are teir 10 battles, at that point the bismark becomes source of easy points for the enemy team. guns are too small to hurt a t10 bb and not accurate enough to hit anything smaller on a regular basis. and now that there cv’s in almost every game the whole german bb line is a waste of time.

  11. Finished watch a video about Bismarck by Drachinfel and now I’m watching a gameplay of Bismarck

  12. How dare you abandon secondaries!!! Manual Secondaries is love, Manual Secondaries is life.

  13. I don’t know where you’re getting your dispersion. I have played Bis exclusively lately and I bracket broadsided cruisers and BBs at 10km.

  14. Historically one of bismarks best features was the accurassy. Can we see that? NO

    • 99CCFF756e6b6e6f776e6578696199CCFF647072746c646b

lul n paper soviet turds are getting the most accurate guns. Coincidence? I blyat not xaxaxa)))))

  15. I LOVE Bismark and will always root for the ship.
Wargaming pls give me Untier on bismark

  16. Akshay Gowrishankar

This was really entertaining. Once I was in my Bayern, and I found myself surrounded by 2 enemy battleships, a cruiser and a JAPANESE DD. Needless to say, I died. 🙂

  17. Secondaries Notser….. We need more, not less. Just running around as a spunge is… Meh…. Secondaries are flavor.

  18. Can you do a video about Soviet BB ships skills and equipment?

  19. I left my Bismarck on secondary build in keeping with your earlier advice of boosting the strength of a ship over increasing something that will still be mediocre at best.
