Saying “You can’t judge a game if you are not a game developer” is a proper ad hominem argument and therefore a fallacy. Victor is not a guy who is is good in arguments or logical thinking.
But what many people missed is that he is also wrong: as a developer you completely lose your ability to judge the usefulness of your program. You are working on it, but not using it. You need the input of non-developers badly or you will build something nobody needs or wants. That’s true for any software and probably for any product.
It’s basically the cya principal in life when you want to avoid criticism that you don’t want to hear
