Daring with legendary module is basically just a weaker and uptiered Yahagi if you think about it.
Think about it:
– High fire chance
– Low penetration
– Very floaty ballistic
– Strong torpedoes
– Hydroacoustic Search
– Low detection by cruiser standards
At 30:16 , we can even see Maltese training for the IJN monster! Food for the thought, Maltese. Food for the thought!

I feel the entire UK DD line is pretty solid and should be either the first or second DD line people should do as new players. The other line being the US line.
I would honestly suggest German DDs as a second line. Yeah, your smokes suck but the Hydro will protect you from other ships trying to rush you. And, although your torps are weaker than same tier US DD’s torps, they reload faster so you have more chances to practice aiming with them.
Im starting to grind the japanese dd line for my first one, not too hard
@pedro LFT I picked those two because they are the best to learn how to DD in. Japanese line is a good line but limited early on being torp focused and once they split a lot of people tend to worry about farming damage over actually doing their role. In essence you are either a great torp boat(shima line) or a great gunboat(haru line). US/UK DDs are great cap contesters throughout the line and really become the best all’rounders at t8+. Lightning and Benson are really good ships at t8. Then the US line hits it pinnacle at t9 with the Fletcher. And at T10 the daring is just silly good.
@Boris Radulovic The German line is decent for the most part. The smoke/hydro trick is sadly not as strong as it used to be. Too many radars(even on dds). Their HE damage is pretty bad too. The best ships of the line are definitely at the end. Z46 and Z52 are fun but have been powercrept to hell. T61 is definitely my favorite of them all tho it’s kinda broken at T6
Why do you go back to port before checking the score?
I always want to show the background of the map, on the score screens, I just think it looks nicer

I run Cunningham on Mino. Sure you miss out on the fire perks, but the extra heal/radar/hydro is pretty OP

Really great timing on this vid, just gone back to UK dds myself after not playing them since last year.
First game though, I’ve never lost a turret permanently but I have lost both torp racks on halland before ever getting to launch them due to FDR spotting and thunderer doing thunderer things.

I like the Daring so much that I put Cunningham on it, from Conq. I know its probably better on the Conquerer, but I play Daring so much more and at least you can potentially proc all 3 talents 🙂
