    • A really cursed ship is another hipper class heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, she was escorting bismarck, and managed to escaped. She was then captured by The US and became USN Prinz Eugen and used for nuclear tests, she had several nuclear bombs dropped on her, and she is still intact, you can visit her today I think

    • kisses right back hombre!

  2. Davey Jones intensifies

  3. Hang on a second this isn’t cursed by design

  4. 3:42 – 4:33
I remember that clip from the film The King’s Choice

  5. Surprised you didn’t make a Jaws reference with Indianapolis! 😀

  6. Ya know, I just had the thought “Flak should do a World of Warships video” last night as I was playing the PS4 version. Trying to get the Bismarck.

If you’re a heavy metal fan, Sabaton has a song called Bismarck referencing the ship. If you’re into books, “In Harm’s Way” is a retelling of the sinking of the Indianapolis.

  7. Lovin’ World of Warships. Really wanted to see you playing this game.

  8. Great video Flak. Never knew about the ship that almost killed the president twice.

  9. I came purely to simp for the mustache!! Horatiooooooo!

  10. der bananenbaumler

Misspronounced Warspite. That makes 7 Ave maria.

  11. There are no bad ships. There are just bad players. And there is only bad luck.

  12. Spicychicken eater

Who else remembers the good old days of flakfire’s bf1 history videos. Ahh the nostalgia

    • Absolutely!! And I sooooo misss the show with flak and two of his friends(I don’t remember their names) but like a couple times a year they had like Battlefield talks, discussing all kinds of BF.. that was so enjoyable. I really hope that comes back for BF6

  13. Salute to _KMS/DKM Bismarck_
To the bitter end. They did their job.

  14. Here’s a chain of bad luck for ya… it started with the Hood… then the Bismarck… then by Ark Royal who happens to pick up a cat named Oscar… also known as the Unsinkable Sam…

  15. This game is honestly so much fun. It looks and plays great

  16. Oh I love this it’s so interesting. It reminds me of Frankieonpc war stories. I’d love more videos like this. Maybe something from Battlefield V’s arsenal. Or BF1.

  17. Ah, what a lovely day to be aboard the HMS Hood, I’m sure nothing explodey will happen.

  18. One cursed ship would be the destroyer HMS Campbeltown. The British wanted to sabotage the only dock that Tirpitz could operate out of the Atlantic. The Brits has a genius plan; fill the Campbeltown with tons of timed explosives, ram it into the dock then have a bunch of British commandos raid the dock, then detonate the destroyer. Worst part was when the destroyer rammed the dock and the raiders stormed out, they were killed by machine gun fire. 169 raiders were killed and 200 were captured. To top it all off, the timers on the explosives didn’t go off an hour later which surprised the Germans killing 250 of them and French civilians.

  19. Flak, Norfolk is in Virginia, not West Virginia. Also the USS Juno had a interesting story pertaining to the 5 Sullivan Brothers who all died in the same attack after being caught by a Japanese submarine. Also don’t mean to be a stickler about saying West Virginia instead of Virginia, I just caught it cause I have been to Norfolk.

  20. YES! I was waiting for Willie D! I was all like, “if this dude doesn’t mention The Willie D, I’m unsubbing for sure.”
