  2. It’s truly unfortunate that ships like this were scrapped instead of being preserved like our other museum ships.

    • Agreed. The united States does have a fair bit of ships in terms of preserved things. And that can be said for most things compared to Britain. It’s just sad to see such a great warship having to meet her end to the scrappers torch.

    • How many Russian ships were even built?

    • I agree. Especially the USS Enterprise (CV-6). If there’s any ship that has such a profound service history and exceptional battle record to deserve itself just a single slot in the preservation museum, it’s gotta be her! She literally carried the entire weight of America’s back throughout the war, from after the attack on Pearl Harbor up to the very last offshore battles near the Japanese homeland. It’s fucking disappointing and frustrating that she didn’t become a museum ship!

    • It’s quite expensive to conserve a ship. Sadly.

    • @popefang you have the Kutuzov still standing. The Russians were cancelling a lot of projects also due to Stalinist purges – so a lot of people who could do the job or were doing their job jest died. So this made the projects that should take 5-6 years – to make them 10 years. Which made the ship semi outdated and not with the effort. This was the issue with Kronsztadt super heavy cruiser and Lenin BB. They also started to work on Stalingrad too late and the ship wasn’t even finished and it would be a dinosaur, but Stalin died earlier so they cancelled it. Russians had many DDs though but they scraped must of them. The least one I think it’s Anshan which is a museum ship in China.

  3. I’ve waited for the Tenessee class for ages WG, why did you have to make it this crappy?

    • It hurts. I LOVE the ship to death, but only aesthetically. Performance-wise in WoWs PC, she is completely underperforming. Her Legends counterpart destroys her, actually.

  4. She gave a good accounting of herself at Leyte Gulf!

  5. The more mispronunciation I hear, the more I feel like this is an advanced A.I bot or smt

3:14, 3:32 shows not even a standard type battleship. Those are definitely the faster bois due to the distance between their barrels

  6. John Carlo Barnacia

If only they buffed her speed to nagato levels. Anyway she Thicc and gorgeous.

  7. Why would you buy this if you have those terribly designed subs in your game…

  8. I love these videos it’s nice that the premium ships I buy actually have some history to them

  9. She recovered from the destruction wrought at Pearl Harbor, came back stronger than ever, and even managed to avenge herself and her other battleship cousins (who were also victims of the attack on PH) during Leyte Gulf. Simply amazing. Ships like her deserve to be preserved. She literally embodies the indomitable American spirit of never giving up without a fight!

  10. Notice at the end of the video of California in game the water looks different, can’t wait until the new water physics and appearance update

  11. Perfect video, real homage to real ship. This is is the reason I love this game. Wallet is open.

  12. This things armor is so weird, you either delete it or do nothing.

  13. It’s a shame that California is not a good ship at all in this game. The history of this ship is great but it’s just not a good tier 7 ship at all.

  14. California should have been preserved instead of being scrapped.

  15. Moment Of Silence as we hear the Capital Battleship suffer from many situations.🙏

  16. Riccardo Locatelli

1:18 is the propellers cut out or just in perfect shadow?

  17. Got to love the Cali she is deadly I would say

  18. she deserved to be a naval legend

  19. We create ships accurately and send them into battle … we also create them out of rumours and pipe dreams.

  20. Make California’s main battery reload 30s, 34.2s on 14in guns at Tier 7 is ABYSMAL. The Spreadsheet even agrees that her DPM is below average!!
