I feel like talking through the ship before the build might make more sense – because we don’t understand why you’ve made those choices without the context of the ship’s actual features.
I mention the build before and after, and the video is chaptered, I actually chapter the video myself, therefore, you can skip to the game, if you don’t want to know the build :P, then you can look at the build.
@MalteseKnight yeah fair enough! I actually meant: ship > build > game. So you’d explain the ship only has AP, so when you see you’ve chosen heavy AP, let’s say, it makes more sense, rather than wondering why you’d done it without context, if that makes sense. IMHO anyway!

It has amazing firing angles to the rear. Combined with the extreme improved pen angles and the torps this thing is a kiting monster.
@Juri Never really have that problem in any of the RN CL’s. Yeah, sometimes the damage output drops, but it’s always for a very short while, and these are 203’s by the way, with the same pen angles as Mino.
There are other things I don’t like about the ship but the guns are fine.

Hey Malta, thanks for another great video! Camo is called Privateer because privateers were (suypposed to be) legal Pirates. Its a very interesting part of naval history, and I strongly recommend researching it a bit, if you don’t know much about it, it might be mind blowing 😉 o7

The Cloud part is probably because it has the same kind of styling you often see used on airships (as in literal flying boats, not the real life thing) that show up in fantasy and steampunk. It was especially common for example in fantasy RPGs in the 90s and early 2000s. It’s also a signature of the Final Fantasy series of games although they don’t always look like that sort of flying ship.
wich mod you using for detecting timer?
Not quite the HMS Myoko it seemed like at a quick glance.
Would definitely like to see a few more matches of it, especially in a more normal game mode.

I think something underrated about this ship when doing the comparison with Ablemarle is that insane shell velocity over distance.
There’s no way you’d get that Akizuki kill so easily at 13km with the Ablemarle.
Now factor in all the other shots you did throughout the game, penning those tier X BBs effectively at safe distances.
Ablemarle can’t do that easily at that range and relying on fire RNG is not necessarily a good thing.
Factor in damage saturation on those BBs and its damage will severely drop with a lack of fires.
In fact, I think Ablemarle would have just been nuked a lot harder by return fire.
This ship mitigates one of the biggest issues the RN CL line has: floaty shell arcs.
Imagine if a Minotaur had these shell ballistics. It would be insane. It could just get away with open gunning near max range and still deal massive DPM.
