Hello and welcome everyone, the Italian battleships are out of NDA and I can finally show you some gameplay to give you an idea of how they play and what they are capable off. This is the tier 9 Italian battleship Lepanto and is still a work in progress, the current base reload speed of the Lepanto in this game is 35 seconds but will be increased to 37seconds in the next update 0.10.1 when the Italian battleships will be available to everyone for Italian tokens in game. I’m using the Italian bonus captain luigi Sansonetti and this is the full build I’m using in this game. This turned out to be an incredibly fun game from my earlier live stream I hope you all enjoy the match. This is the full captain build I used in this game Captain Skills: Gun Feeder, Grease the Gears, Basics of Survivability, Concealment Expert, Emergency Repair Expert, Dead Eye and Adrenaline Rush. Upgrades: Main Armaments Mod 1, Damage Control Mod 1, Aiming Systems Mod 1, Damage Control Mod 2, Concealment System and Main Battery Mod 3. This is an experimental build I’ve been playing around with during testing to make use of the range boost given by Sansonetti on getting a kill in game and deadeye to make up for the dispersion and I’ve had a lot of fun trying it out. The Italian battleship Lepanto will be available to everyone in world of warships in update 0.10.1 with the launch of the Italian battleship event along with other Regia Marina Italian battleships like Conte di Cavour, Andrea Doria, Francesco Caracciolo, Vittorio Veneto to mention a few.

i played against lepanto and its almost imposible to win. its imposible to beat someone who is invisible all the time. then you cant get close enough because he can hit u from almost 30k out. it would help if thye game was more realistic. the original ship never had smoke.
The timbre of your voice makes me feel like you are letting us in on a fun secret during your games. Content is great as always. Keep it up.

Yes indeed I had to laugh at times with some of the comedy antics going on it was a 2 v 6 situation at one point so it was a surprising a very funny win nonetheless.
And in the same spirit, I’m commending you for the way your ads are setup. Near impossible to get through a 10min video without 4mins ads throughout. Nice to be able to enjoy the whole video for what it is. Well played on both fronts!
Carbine, having taken a degree at the University in Florence, (long, long, ago…:) what I remember as being most valuable about all things Italian: 1. When you rule the world for a 1600 years or so, you take the most beautiful women from everywhere you conquer and send em back to Rome 🙂 After a few generations, u tend to find less need to go look anywhere else for more 😉 2. When you put an enemy/adversary down, try not to EVER let em get back up (e.g. Carthage) 3. When things get REALLY rough…sometimes you just have to have ‘faith’ ( see Constantine:). Why is this relevant?
well from what i’ve seen so far, if U going to battle in an Italian boat, first dress it up nice, some are damned fine looking ships:) 2. As for tactics; sneaking up using terrain, smoke, speed, what have you works gloriously well for assassinations:) (see Paolo Yolo hehehe), and Third: when you got em wounded, SAP the chit out of em LOL.
Seriously, these boats seem to have some issues, HOWEVER, I wouldn’t turn my back on either THEM, or someone calling himself “Carbine Carlito”, UNLESS you’re intending to ‘sleep with da fishes” heheh
@Carbine Carlito I could tell you stories, the proprietor of my favorite little local pizzeria/rotisserie chicken/fresh veggies/ good vino rosso place; besides being a marvelous chef and a good friend, turned out to be the local ‘Mano Nero” boss:) Met and spent a lot of time with one of the last of the Romanov’s, a VERY close relative of the last Tsar- I still have the little russian bible she gave me- a classy lady; got a chance to spend some time with the hereditary royal lady of of Malta (NOT Elizabeth), and her English Lord husband, got a chance to purchase and tour Europe on a thinly disguised (for racing homologation purposes)(VERY thinly disquised hehehe) racing desmo 900 Ducati; was thrown in jail at the Spanish frontier the night Franco executed those college kids (the policia on guard thought I was Italian terrorist trying to sneak into the country because of the bike / license plate not to mention the all black leather AND my blasting thru the border crossing in the middle of the night at maybe 80 mph:); was perhaps the first american allowed UNESCORTED travel on a motorcycle behind the old Soviet Iron Curtain(they also thought I was Italian hehehe) and managed to travel freely throughout the balkans and up into the old Soviet Union. Not the last unusual thing I did was meet and converse with the then head of the Italian communist party who was on the verge of winning the election in Tuscany:), and I got to spend some time at his ‘palace’ (really wealthy guy- white gloved servants and the whole bit) out on I think Sardinia. What qualifies for ‘Last’ was living a few floors up (same building) from the ‘knee-capping Italian revolutionary terrorist group, The “Brigate Rosse” or as the CIA called em, the ‘RED Brigade’ and no, I’m NOT making this stuff up. I guess you could say it was an ‘eventful’ academic experience in Italy:)
Want one more? well I even helped the most beautiful anthropologist that EVER existed 🙂 (I literally ‘followed her ANYWHERE heheh) as she opened an undisturbed and roughly 2000 year old Etruscan tomb:) Unfortunately , my lasting memory of that one is of the ‘aromatic blast’ that hit me on first inhalation :(. Needless to say, I enjoyed MOST of my time in and around Tuscany:)

up and gave the enemies a juicier target to shoot at.
That was entertaining. Seems like the turret traverse on the Lepanto is pretty slow. Guess only the Soviets could build battleships with huge guns and cruiser traverse.
I feel your pain, almost every game starts with multiple teammates abandoning the spawn side, and we end up being flanked when 1 ship gets deleted by 4. Great game, heck of a comeback from the edge of the abyss.

When WG continues to nerf italian bbs more and more, they nerf’d them quite a bit too much at this point ngl

A few instances in this match where I think AP would’ve been better than sap. The sap seemed very disappointing. Should have shredded through that algerie. Angled or not.
