The new Ranked Battles season 2 has different system settings applied. Wargaming have doubled both the duration of each Sprint and the entire season. The amount of Steel and Doubloons awarded for each Sprint has also been doubled. The number of Stars in leagues has been increased by 50% on average. In addition, the Bronze and Silver leagues now have 10 ranks each. Reaching Rank 1 will reward you with Bronze League, Silver League, and Gold League containers. Each season is divided into several Sprints. The duration of a single Sprint is approximately 1–3 weeks, and this may differ from season to season. There are three leagues in each season: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. In order to enter the next league, you need to reach Rank 1 in your current league and then qualify. If you don’t manage to qualify for the next league, you’ll start the new Sprint in your current league at the lowest rank of this league. All the rewards will be available to collect again.
If you qualify for the next league, you’ll start the new Sprint in that next league with the lowest rank of that league. During a single Sprint, players can only progress through their current league and qualify for the next one. Rewards are granted for achieving victories, reaching Rank 1, and qualifying. Ranked Battles aren’t available during low activity periods. This is necessary to ensure high-quality matchmaking.

Hello and welcome everyone, the new season of ranked battles is up and running with everyone starting in bronze league being limited to tier 8 and tier 9 ships. I must confess to have had a lot of fun playing my Jutland in this new system of ranked battles and had a very nice run getting to rank 1 in just 20 battles. I’ve include the build as usual and let me know in the comments what you think and until the next time keep sailing it like you stole it o7
so far in DDs, my Least favorite thing for the Capt,. to say is- “Torpedo tubes Destoyed!” Now That S*t Hurts.
especially on jutland. her guns and torps get wrecked too easily and need their HP boosted

New ranked are bad… broze we can pass in one day then need wait 13 days for next. Leauge schould be tier by tier, silver with 10t when there is usualy one 9t is also bad. And ofc Gold Leauge doesn’t have any safety rank so with amazing rng and mm u can just drop form rank 2 to begine… thats broken like qualification…. rewards are very good so + for that. But Gold Leauge is extremly hard and boring ( to mutch dd’s that op to compare 9t ) and i schould be able to decide on which Leauge i want to play after reach 1st rank ( imo silver is best if there is more than one 9t ) xd

This is a perfect example of why I love Jutland so much. She’s my little bully. Didn’t play her in bronze league though as there were too many bad BB players in my teams so I switched to Jean Bart and pushed and brawled with her instead of the other dead eye bb’s sat so far back they couldn’t support the team. Honestly can’t believe how bad the teams I got were in bronze league though. Also got accused of cheating too after getting a kraken because the enemy georgia (5th kill) was sat still completely broadside to me at 8km away and I citadeled the crap out out of him lol

When I say stock I mean the stock hull. Upgraded Bismarck hull has over 69K hitpoints. He had a permanent camoflage on but I didnt mean this

I like it very much. The game was perfect – A teammate listening to another player in the team. The Kitakaze player
did everything right and your cpmpliment was well deserved by him. I played the Cossack and finished with 24 games
and a winrate of 74 percent. I like the Jutland as well but was levelling my Legendary Commander on Cossack.
I will stick to Bronce League NOT trying to get to Silver League. I want stressless games and non toxic chat 🙂

I’m stuck at rank 3
Also got Jutland in my port with average result, still need to learn much. But on the other hand I had quite success with Oland and Ostergotland in current ranked season, don’t know why thou. And if things doesn’t go well I just bring the biggest T9 “destroyer” with 460 mm “torpedoes”… the Musashi… just to have some relax time hahaha!

As a person limited on time, I honestly see no point in going past bronze/silver league if your just playing for steel since rewards reset every week now. It’s far easier to secure wins in bronze and silver compared to gold. Also since wg decided to increase steel earned to 200 per 3 battles won, one can earn 600-800 steel depending on the league for just 2-3 hours of ranked play per week. Personally I don’t find the extra 200 steel gold gives to be worth the headache, time, ane selfish/meta gameplay at gold.
In the old ranked system, I could play for one week 2-3 hrs a day and earn all the steel up to rank 5-1 depending on whether I had the will to push to the higher ranks which was like 2500-3700 steel. I don’t remember the exact number because I usually started at rank 11 automatically earning all the steel in the previous ranks. This new ranked system highly favors people who have time to spend each week playing to earn all the awards, which is fine but just not time efficient compared to old ranked system.
Watching this match reminds me of a game one of my clanmates and myself had. We both decided to take out Z-39 together for some laid-back fun. Working together we managed to win the match against a bunch of tier 9’s. We hunted a Jutland together, with my mate just a few km’s ahead of me. She baited the Jutland into a gunfight, smoked up, allowing me to spot for her, then we both opened up. He tried to use smoke to escape but he was in my hydro range. He didn’t survive. I’m pretty sure he didn’t know what was going on, he was in full-on panic mode. Games like that when you go in with the intent to have fun are just that, fun.

Well played you two. I went through bronze in Cossack and Jutland, plus a few games in Lightning. One thing i noticed was the deadeye BBs playing on the map extremities are not helping win games, because capping is so important and they cannot influence this particularly late in the game due to speed and time constraints
Exactly Adrian it is a bit of a problem in some games but this on the other hands makes the RN destroyers even more effective in the right hands
