USS United States, it doesn’t get more Murican than this I gotta say.
It has 5 sets of planes, from which 3 are kinda special single use.
Special torp and dive bombers are some super fast prop planes but rockets are actual jet planes and super easy to use with 96% fire chance – no joke.
I didn’t break any damage records so far, but I usually end up “wasting” few attacks on DDs, just can’t help myself, but the speed of these planes is ridiculous.
The only bad aspect of it is that it has literally no armor anywhere so it’s 1 CV you can actually kill, and its concealment is horrible.

I expect the American Super Battleship to be a 12 barrel Ohio with CIWS and automatic AA rockets.
But that AA will come with 8 flak and 300dps which is not enough to stop 2 strikes. Because it has to be.

Tier 11 ships are just an excuse for WG to release the Battlecruiser Kirov in the future.

I frankly expect a italian 20 barrels – from 1936 – on a battleship or cruiser, since WG seems so eager to just put more guns on those things instead of updating their tech.
I’m gonna play super CVs just because you can build them into fighters and litteraly grief the other CV.
I hope WarGaming adds Japanese super carriers into the game because I feel their special squadrons are the MXY-7 Ohka kamikaze planes.

Saw a video by another YT who did some digging into the Fighters consumable for the United States. Apparently, if you spec the United States for Air Superiority and you drop a fighter squadron right on top of a tier 10 strike group, the fighter squadron will shoot down almost all of the strike group. Because the fighters have a 3 second “descend from heaven” time and an effective radius of 4.8km when specced for it. The Tier 10 group isn’t fast enough to get away before the fighters show up. Combine that with a 5 second reload on the consumable and 25 second loiter time and you can bully the enemy tier 10 carrier. If you’re interested in watching this in action look up “Super Carriers Emotional Damage”

Even though I reached Level X about 3.5 years ago, due to the CV’s (and all the fake Russian garbage), I don’t play at Level X.
p.s. Now if the surface vessels were to get SSM’s, then I might change my mind.
Royal Navy should get Buccaneers with Red Beard nukes. Drop in enemy spawn before they can disperse for insta-Kraken or destroy entire team in single hit for new Bananas award. Buccs fly too low to be hit by AA but can be rammed by submarines. Totally realistic and balanced.
My Italian aa will sure gonna love these jet planes. Pray they could shoot anything

I’ve seen some interesting builds where u build into the fighters on these new CVs and u can almost completely lock out the enemy CV.
That landing tho! At least they don’t just dive into the middle of the carrier deck like they do in Blitz
to be honest, i still find the dmg of a nahkimov to be much more frustrating… dropping skip bombs with at least 1 fire and a ton of dmg on every ship with no cooldown… The spotting of these jets will be the worst thing tho… Spotting the whole map in a heartbeat
Facing these Russian CVs is super toxic and it gets worse the closer you get to them, because the planes always come back in full squadron and they hurt too much. Torps hit hard, bombs hit hard rockets hit hard. The other day I watched a Montana lose 26K of his HP by Nakhimov rockets.. and it was just 90 seconds into the match. Comparatively I’m happiesr to face FDR tbh and happiest to face no CV.
03:29 For comparison a P-51 Mustang goes 437 mph, a P-47 Thunderbolt goes 553 mph. I am surprise the jets are slower. I thought the Grumman F9F Panther maximum speed was 503 kts (579 mph, 932 km/h). Why does WG have it so slow?

Because the scale of this game is not 1:1, you can already tell boats get to places much faster than they should in this game. 40km traveled in 20 minutes for a 20+ kts bb?
So you can already tell how busted 400kts would be for planes.

I am pretty sure the only reason is limits by the game engine.
That WG does not really care about balance is a well known fact by now.

I play a lot of tier 5 6 ships that are mostly ww1 era, its difficult when up tiered against more modern ship of the 1930’s to 1940’s and above. I think the game needs splitting to WW1 WW2 and post era levels to make it more fairer?
