IJN tier 5 tech tree battleship, more like battlecruiser, Kongo.

The thing that I do like about this ship, is the speed, but not much else. Guns often overpen or miss, turrets turn very slow and it is not like it has super armor.

But it is on the way to one and only Yamato so we have to grind through it. Here is one of the most successful games I had in it πŸ˜‰

  3. Flambino turret rotation “managment” in this game gave me aneurysm. Besides that, good game!

    • Yep he is undoubtedly a much better player than me but I think some decisions he made in this game are objectively bad.

      At least he didn’t die in 4 minutes in a CV this time.
      Edit: after paying attention, I don’t see anything wrong with his turret management…

    • @@thegreenfather1978 Let’s just say that in my opinion several times he was turning his ship prematurely or just shuffling sides without need, which made his salvo output worse (always 2 turrets rotating instead of firing). Of course you can debate it what is better, better position of your ship or more efficient salvo output in particular battle situation. In this battle he made unnecessary shuffling sides way to often.
      In the end, the battle is won, so the results are there πŸ™‚

  5. Kongo dispersion is very meh. In general, IJN dispersion feels pretty bad nowadays. Yamato overmatches most ships so each shell actually deals damage, even when only a few connect.

  11. I play mid/low tiers a bit, but this is the first time I noticed that… kinda creepy face on the island (visible 10:35 while Flamba’s heading towards the enemy cap). Eesh.

  13. Hermes just pushed C for Corner and dont even looked at the Mini Map. Tactical C is always Favorited when getting shot.

  16. I haven’t played this game since around 2021 but I used to really like the feel of the battle cruisers Kongo and Amagi. Kongo in particular was really fast for its tier.

  18. I cant get into playing WoWs, but I sure do like to watch Flamby play WoWs – his killing the destroyer and then cruiser in succession was fun to watch.

  19. Don’t players get that percentage chance that enemy shells will miss like the cameos they have?
    I think that shit should be removed from all bar DD’s.
    Accurate shell hits should be more of a thing, even if WG need to introduce healing for more ships, something like 20% more healing for each heal we have (inc cit dmg) and healing worth 20% of your ships max hp on all other ships on at least 2 uses.
    From like tier 6 upward no ship should not have a heal besides CV’s Subs and DD’s DD’s should still be special with their pick, but cruisers if they’re gonna be more able to be hit and punished for bad plays need a way to heal abit.

    And just less rolls on overpens imo.

    • – have like a critical overpen when it hits a target who hasn’t taken dmg before and hits a critical area.
      But over time have a critical failure percentage in over saturated areas (over pens deal 25% less dmg) crit dealing 25% more (and able to disable nearby modules)
