Fun game where I started off ambushing an unsuspecting Shima with guns and getting away scott free while my torps manage to find a solid hit on an Iowa and kill a Des Moines. Manage to get a cap while unloading the guns on various folks trying to get fires going and keep em going on as many ships as possible.

See some battleships in need of assistance so I head that way keeping the guns and torps roaring the whole time. Don’t manage to get there in time to save the Iowa and the Yamato yolo’d to close for me to bother helping him so I started runnin a couple montana’s along the edge and finish both off.

Head on back to fight off the last two BB’s (another Iowa and Yamato) as they took a cap back from us. The CV lands a huge hit on the Iowa leaving the Yamato which I burn down and at the very..very last second. I apparently got credit for the kill as I get 5 kills on the team score but no Kraken.

Huge 400k damage (first time for me), especially in a DD, and an all around great showing for the gearing which I had been fairly frustrated with lately due to all the khababs running around absolutely wrecking me.
