Skipping the original Alien movie is kind of… You miss a lot. But no sweat! 😉 There are people out there who actually brag about knowing the Lord of the Rings trilogy from the movies only and not heaving read the books because they found them boring. Personally I think Alien is one of few old sci-fi movies for which you don’t need to pre-curl your toes in anticipation of embarrassment. I can recommend two very interesting making-off/documentaries about the Alien available on yt.
