Why don’t they use the sonar ping ?
Because they use the normal torpedoes instead of the homing ones, so ping doesn’t do anything with them. All the premium subs, (I-56, S-189, Gato) are better with the normal torpedoes then the ones the require ping.
@Zoltán Zelenka I see, assume they do more damage or reload faster
@Eastern Wind the normal torpedoes does more damage, have more range(on the tech tree ones the range is switched, homing torps have much wider range. Making normal torps only good for shotgunning), but slower and have higher detection and travels more distance before it arms. Also the premium subs can switch torps faster(5-6 sec to change type) while a tech tree one takes more(10-12 secs) which alsó very convenient when you have to Seal with different type of ships in a quick sequence. Reload is the same for all types eventually, it’s not type specific.
@Eastern Wind The Gato uses Gearing torpedoes which have range and a very nasty punch. The Gato is stupid though…as are most submarines.
a smart tactic without sonar, because if you use sonar the position of the submarine will be known to the opponent. He is very good at playing with his submarine 👍👍
Also, a sonar hit gives the enemy extra time to change course

What on earth went on with the Balao? Paid actor or just THE single worst player in WOWS? I’ve NEVER seen play that bad on EU server… You’d literally struggle more in Coop against bots, ridiculous…
