1:30 god damn it jingles the grille did pen the is-7 he didnt just blow his tracks off, he did 800 damage and got 500+ tracking damage
the 500 was spotting damage

@James Handley it has potential to be. It has enough armor and a fast enough reload that it is worrisome. Hopefully they concentrate on taking out those dang Tarans. Those ARE overpowered.

@James Handley losing 80% of your health in an e75 certainly does not feel good.
It’s also got a camo rating *more than twice as bad* as a Doom Turtle (seriously – T95 18.18%, vs Grille-15 at 7.87%). It’s a paper TD that can’t even hide. “Hilariously impractical” doesn’t begin to cover it.
I mean, the T95 is much, much lower to the ground AND has a history of being able to be lost in a open field, hiding behind some bushes for a couple of decades.

Derp gun with premium HE with insane pen, and oddly good accuracy. Equipped with a rocket booster so it can get into the best position before anybody. And very good armor. And of course, only available in lootboxes
Ah, sometimes I think of coming back to this game, but then I see stuff like this. I feel secure in aging war thunder, not because they don’t have OP premiums, but because you can still one shot those bastards if you’re patient and clever enough.

interesting that the turret of that BZ-176 shows the design features more familiar with things like the type 96 and type 99 family of Chinese tanks. If the thing ever existed I’d suspect it was some form of a prototype for the 96

@Ben Scarbro I unlocked Grille 15 when I finally became frustrated with my JgdpzE100 fully aimed shots going low or in the tracks.
Switched to Grille and I never had the confidence in its accuracy at range. Issue is low-ish pen negates any accuracy the gun might have.
The game has “too much rng”.
Also the camo is horrible for such a squishy tank.

I’m with you on that 1st shot where we round down anything below 1000 damage. That wasn’t 800 + 500 tracking, just a tracking and two nothings.

I would argue that in fact the best german AT gun was long 75 (L71) from Panther. It had better penetration than Tiger’s 88, was lighter, easier to operate, had faster rate of fire and didn’t require muzzle brake.
