FHKK could have won easier but they had very poor torp communication between the two man teams. Caused a lot of misses. If they had communicated that one does a shot head on and port the other head on and starbord, they would have guaranteed a lot more hits.

It was called “Schlachtfest”. 7 vs 7 on T7 but with no premium ships

Interesting Match-Idea, but that was a terrible DD game play.
They even failed to kill that one DD at the beginning. If the Shira had shot its guns and not the torps ….
There where plenty of situations where a DD in smoke could have safely fired and didn’t
And the torpedo aim…it was substantial for victory but…so many near misses.
gotta say i really enjoy these “exotic” make-ups, a welcoming change to the standard fleet set-ups

Truth be told this was horrible gameplay from both sides. The dds couldn’t coordinate worse imo. And the chase to the border is a strat that should be lost after T5. Both were playing to lose, not win.
I would like to see matches Nation vs. Nation…
Tbh, one of the videos I found little to none enjoyment watching, probably because of the team play and the matchmaking.

7:45 Shira could have made things a lot easier by using guns. His smoke broke line of site between anyone in range to see him. He could have likely used his guns for a good 20 or so seconds with little risk. He could have helped kill the BB and had a much better health pool in the endgame.
As Jingles so often likes to mention on his channel, IJN torp DD captains often seem to forget/be unaware that their ships actually are equipped with working guns 😀
You look at real player games but you don’t actually see what really goes on in bot games cause it gets more intense than you think!
I enjoy watching these matches.
The ignorance is watching the battleships Chase across the map for the DD’s instead of keeping on the caps
