From your standpoint this ship is not for relying on secondaries?
I think even on several captain build websites (including the widely build google doc) it has been recommended to not play the ship as a secondary ship, but to spec it as a main battery battleship. Its secondaries are more an extra ontop of its fast and large amount of torps per side, but will be unreliable to depend upon all the time.
I personally like to dash in and out of brawling and use it for more pve event stuff (the halloween event, the upcoming assymetrical battles) and have the secondaries go apeshit.
I realy like this ship but the secondary range is just to short for the meta and they are pretty dead pretty fast. A main battery build could be realy nice with HE because it has german guns but not the german HE shells. The secondary is pretty bad compared to Ruprecht or even Nawarin so building into them is pretty expensive and not that rewarding. Nice video match and commentary! <3

Quite a few Kings of Sweden took Karl/Carl as their regal name but not all of them took a second name. Hence why Carl is followed directly by roman numerals instead of after Johan
I think you might be being a bit harsh on the GK. I have entered battles before, and been kicked out, lost connection, whatever, and couldn’t get back in time.
Good battle to watch though.
yes, but usually those issues are mod related.. and more frustrating, after ‘W’ somewhere to THEN be kicked out.
@Tuning3434 Not necessarily, for me it was more because either the servers were kicking me out for no reason, although my connection was just fine or my game loaded and just crashed, not just because of a potato pc. Now that I’ve acquired a pretty decent pc, it definitely happens way less though, however there are still occasions where for some reason the game has super high ping, so it kicks me out and I’ve checked numerous times that it is not an issue on my side. I haven’t used any mods throughout the years.
That’s why i wish Karl to drop out from some of Santa’s containers this year. This ship is goofy, but actually usable, not like Illinois, wich is goofy and not doing great in todays meta. Anyway this issues with Illinois might come that, because I’m not used to USN ballistics (DD aside, as Sherman is a natural born killer)

Being AFK is not always the Players fault. I have sometimes had problems logging into a game and say after being able to start with only 14 mins left i have got 3-4 kills and 100k damage but at end of game have been penalised by WOW for improper or inactive play and not given any credits for that game, made pink and given a warning about my future conduct !

Steam client here, getting the occasional drop is common. Ops players are much more forgiving than Rando players.
I ended picking the Karl and have her for full secondaries. It’s like a bigger Odin tbh
I got the Karl when it came out, but my opinion is that it should be a tier 8 ship, not a tier 9. It looks like they decided to put cruiser guns on a battleship hull, so I guess you could call it a battlecruiser or a really heavy cruiser, and play it that way.
Next will be a DD with the armor of a BB and 15k secondaries with of course 20k trops😂
This wasn’t a bad match by any means, but not really a great match. If we discount 106k from the GK, dude is left with a real damage count of 185k? Which is still good for a T9.
Also, like most have stated, I lived in an area where internet was meh at best. Not all of us live in a city with fiber mountain bat
Well to be fair I had that happen to me several times. The game crashes, lost Internet, or simply lost connection. Is not always that you want to be that guy 🙂 After 5 min the game should de-spawn your ship. Some times you can’t reconnect.
You should upload the game from the other day where I found you on the opposing team and instead of having a fun battle against your side (I was hoping to sink you), both of our teams started arguing about Israel and Palestine. Upload it lol!!
Hello there, I just wanted report WG conscience to be AFK as they are offering HSF ships for real money (not doubs) in the armory. Hmm, maybe that thing was never online 🤷🏼♀️
You shouldn’t accuse that guy of misbehaviour, we don’t know what happened. It may have been what you said, but it could have also been him loading into the game and crashing, this has happened to me so many times over the years.

Basically a hybrid build as I did not like the full torpedo build or the full secondary build. Very happy with the results so far.
The American super battleship is the Rhode Island? I thought it was supposed to be Maine? I live in Maine, so I was excited for that…
