seeing the poor performance here should be a warning to you. it isn’t a good ship, in fact as far as tier 10 BB’s go it is one of the worst. Unless you get a lucky citadel you will rarely do much damage with a salvo due to constant overpen. Sounds bad but Trendlass is a large reason they lost, had he been in pretty much any other tier 10 BB it would have performed better. Bad guns, bad armor, bad agility. Don’t get it just because oooh.. big numbers.
@Noneya Damnbusiness Huh? Shiki has about the same WR as the other steel/RB T10 BBs: Slava, Ohio and Bourgogne.
The guns are accurate with good reload, the armor is fine as long as you don’t get too close, and the AA is enough to scare away most CV.
Granted, if you’re still behind some island on the flank 10 minutes into the game like Trenlass here, she can’t be expected to carry.

Even his score is not bad at all, it’s second on his team, in an arguably one of the hardest to use tier 10 BB. You should point your finger to anyone less than rank 9 in a team.

Trenlass in his battleship went after a destroyer designed to kill battleships and threw the match with his ship being sunk and a points loss handed to the enemy team.

@Arisudev Trenlass is a beast in BBs. His favorite battleship is the Shiki and he plays her like a violin.

That Shikishima has the SpecialCamo on it – where you need to finish ranked 10x on top. I never saw it in a game so far
*PSA: the 100mm secondaries on the Shiki are actually great:*
– they pen 30 mm stock, enough to damage high-tier cruiser decks
– they pen 37 mm with IFHE, enough to damage BBs on the extremities, and French and British BBs all over the place
– they can take IFHE without losing too much from the main guns, since the overmatch allows her to fire nothing but AP most of the time
– they double as AA mounts, so unlike the Yamato the Shiki actually has a powerful AA suite, including a massive number of flak bursts

@Aqila Sanimah incorrect. That was the super-BB version (Satsuma IIrC). Shiki secondaries are equivalent to 1 Harugumo per side.
Yes, pen and dpm are good, but they have standard accuracy, which is crap, unfortunately.
@Phil N It’s not much worse than on the GK, and after the latest rework it’s not that hard to get 300+ hits with the GK.

I like this as I like ALL of Jingles videos, they are done with the level of a Professional who is over worked, under payed and still turns out the best because those that watch the content deserve the very best. WE all ‘Thank You Jingles’ !. Keep it up your retirement pay should be just a good gravy over the meat and potatoes.

Well, the mystery of what happen to Monkey has been solved, he died from seizures caused by Trenlass zooming in and out.
The Shima was a real MVP. He did everything he needed to win the game and he didn’t try and get more kills.

sorry Jingles, but they’re not, i own a Shikishima and her dispersion feels at least as bad as pre-acuracy buff GK. Shooting in a shikishima is just as much luck as it is skill
And even when you do hit something, you’re more likely to get an overpen than anything else.
She’s suffered after they removed Dead Eye, for sure, but that’s true of all BBs.
They are hit and miss but accurate definitely not. It’s just a frustrating experience playing it
The shikishimas secondaries are insanely good and the guns are pretty accurate actually. Been playing mine for a few months now.
WOWS players being WOWS players I’m certain the Shima got reported a few times as multiple single digit IQ keyboard admirals were screaming for him to cap.
