I’ve only died twice this year in a fun and engaging way and they were all in last week.

Second I got torpedoed in I think the Lion.
That’s why I take detonation flags on every ships including battleships.
for BBs its pretty rare. happens only if they take a torp hit near the turrets, usually the rear turrets of german BBs
KGV, Monarch, and Lion can be detonated very easily when a torpedo hits the side of the bow. I think it has something to do with the layout of the bow.

+cobrazax I have done several experiments on training room today. Out of most T9 BB (can’t put premium ships as target bots), Lion still detonates if torpedoes hit the exact spots as this video shows while all others only get flooding. I think Lion’s front magazines are way too close to the bow plating. So yeah you are better not to try to tank the torps with your bow on mid-high tier British BBs.

2019 has Viribus Unitis in it. Of course it’s gonna be amazing. The only way it could be amazinger is if it had more battlecruisers in it, and wouldn’t you know, they’re adding Izmail, so it’s amazinger already. If they added Seydlitz or Derfflinger or Renown or Australia, it would be the amazingest.
Also, I really loved the first one with the Colorado, it was just perfect.
Yeah overpenning cruisers is a recurring problem to say the least, especially in the Yamato….

Can confirm Lion can be detonated very easily when a torpedo hits the bow. Same happens to KGV & Monarch.
There is a flag that completely removes fun and engaging mechanics so… 😀

@Aerroon I did create a forum post about Over-Pens on broadsides since the high caliber AP shell change that supposedly affects DD’s only. The replies were just “Git Gud”
