  1. Nice vid👏

  2. Re-Class Battleship

Well, that will be useful to know.

  3. Nice vid =]… it works on the cruisers as well

  4. Oh so it’s not only the Yamato and Musashi that has the “Blushing Cheeks” weakspot.

    • This is literally on any ship once you get passed the autobounce angles.

    • Nah, it’s just more evident on Yamasushi because of how the citadel armor is angled at the front.

    • The Yamato/Musashi citadel is hexagonal, so at this angle the armor is actually unangled towards shells coming in, making it very easy to pen with even 203mms. Its a bit different than this.

Actually its octogonal but yeah – all you have to do its bypass autobounce by striking the bow below 60 degrees – and punch through the thin frontal citadel on most ships – such as the British or German Battleships, Low tier USN, IJN, and of course the French Battleships.

    • Abukard 16km or above you CAN

    • Shoot from 20km and hope the dispersion is good enough

    • I’ve tried on a training room last night with my F Der 406 mm guns, shooting a salvo from a range of 13 or 14ish km to a Conqueror. I actually get one citadel to conqueror from that range and I’m surprised though.

    • Just_Some_Random_Tryhard_Gamer

Its the same as in this video… hit their bows at 45 degrees – and hope they dip enough to catch that underwater citadel.

    • good luck trying that with those. can’t wait to get into one of those awful conqs and farm damage from afar with no actual risks except half the enemy team commits to kill me lol

  7. Before watching: I bet you it’s the gun barbette.
Edit: oohhh, it’s not! Most intredasting!

  8. Scandalous this has to be fixed!

  9. I sank a Bismark not too long ago in my Amagi when it was rushing me at an angle. I just aimed at the back end of the bow hoping it wouldn’t bounce and got a citadel.

    • The Bismarck and the Tirpitz have a flaw with their #1 turret you can cit a Bismarck and a Tirpitz through their #1 turret an any range with battleships that have guns of a caliber of 406mm and larger, and I have actally cit a brod side Bismarck at 15 km with my own Bismarck before, at one point I also cit a Kurfurst at 6 KM with my own Kurfurst yet with the previous salvo I aimed at the same spot and I only did heavy damage but the shells didn’t hit where Aerroon was shooting, I was shooting at the middle of the ship, but I think that was because I fired a brod side so some shells were passing where another shell had previously pened so I think that was just a fluke, but you see what Aerroon is doing is much eaisier said than done, because most of the time they will either be bow in to you or brod side to you and there for you wouldn’t be able to hit the part he is showing you

  10. NEIN, NEIN, NEIN, NEIN, NEIN, NEIN, NEIN…Warum musst du alles petzen?

  11. Fantastic tutorial…. now i gotta sail 3km from the front of a stationary Kurfursr XD

  12. andreas pedersen

I always try to do it, sadly much harder to do it IRL than in the training room.

  13. You might want to mention that when they are turning hard at full speed the citadel can be penetrated from the broadside as they tend to elevate quite a bit.

  15. Many players in Asia server are already using this technique, it is good to see some tutorial so that more people in other server can enjoy these citadel

  16. Ok but it isnt that helpful because you have to be so close the secondary would wrek you. In most IJN ships you are second or third line so you cant shoot them from the side. All shots would hit the deck. But thx anyway Aerroon! Grate video!

    • DaKillerChipmunk

Ummm… Rushing German BBs is a valid tactic as long as you can survive the main batteries. Secondaries are really only an issue when chasing a german BB or you’re in a DD.

ijn BBs being second or third line are doing it wrong -.-

    • Sir Raint, Knight of Silverwing

Actually German BBs are the ones that use the rushing tactics (unless the captain aboard them is a potato camping scrub). If you were the one rushing, make sure he/she will die as you pass by the target (nuke its weakpoint or send a full torpedo salvo at <1 km), otherwise yeah his/her secondaries might tear you apart.

    • DaKillerChipmunk

Maybe on US servers, most rushing German BBs get royally fucked in pretty much every match I play, though. By people like me, mostly.

    • Sir Raint, Knight of Silverwing

On Asia server, rushing German BBs are rare (only Scharnhorst/Gneis/Tirpitz drivers use that tactic). But yeah most of them can’t even tell between ‘getting personal’ & ‘going YOLO’. So I agree they are royally fucked nonetheless. *sips tea aboard the Monarch*

    • DaKillerChipmunk

I almost choked on my breakfast there 😀

Edit: also, “The British made sure the ship had the best tea making facilities on the seven seas”

  18. Dangerous move get too close to them… Well as German BB player…. come to me muahahaha

  19. Friederich D. Grosse actually has a similar “weakness” that the Baguette BBs have: The mainbelt doesn’t extend that far into the water, allowing you to potentially slip a shell under it into the citadel, but only with BB shells that fall short, even then its not as “reliable” as against the Baguettes. (Baguette citadels are “vulnerable” even to CA and CB shells falling at around 20-30 degrees from the horizontal into the water)

  20. Make a series on this, please.
