Eh, i had fun with Izumo while it lasted.
It had quite good salvo grouping too, tho i wish the turret was set up like Rodney instead.
However, fighting with multiple CAs is not fun with Izzy. Js
Being outnumbered is fun in what ship though?

Mind you by multiple it doesnt necessarily mean getting overwhelmed
What im saying is, back then Izzy’s deck armor is piss poor in my experience. Fighting CAs is painful with Izzy. Not to mention you cant get out of sight easy
Hello.I can’t change display resolution more than 360p.Only I have this problem?
YouTube’s compression algorithm takes some time to process. Fresh videos will start as 360p, then go to 480, then 720, then 1080. If you want the higher quality video you just need to wait like an hour or two?

Bruh, compared to iowa. She is slightly better than iowa. Iowa doesnt get the resistance to fire and the gold armour buff given to izumo.

+steve natsume, you think? Iowa cit is on waterline to slight above waterline, she can be citadelled at close range sometimes at 45 degree angle but mostly broadsiding happebs to be nuked. Iowa citadel is less impressive at close range compared to NC’s which is why they call NC a hybrid Bb, u can get close and snipe…If u disnt read izumo buffs, might as well u pull out ur eyes, buffs that 90% of all BBs wish to have…

In my humble opinion Izumo is the worst tier 9 Battleship, even with the buffs! Talk abt the turrets, the funny part isn’t that the 3rd turret is facing backwards, it’s the fact that if turret 1 was placed on deck and 2 a bit higher the 3rd could easily face forward and u could fire all 3 at the same time, someone in Japan was totally high with opium when he was designing that ship…. Finally, why the video is in 360p?

Glad you made this video. I’m 3/4 of the way through Amagi right now. Kept hearing good things about the buffs, but it’s nice to see it in action.
It is so much better than when I went through her, you should have a very good experience with her
Izumo is expensive due to being T9 and needing the C hull to not suffer from an utterly insane 26 s rudder shift (it still will only be like 19 s, which isn’t good, but at least you actually get a rudder) and ugly as all hell. However, it is strong and kind of a trade off vs Musashi (accuracy and pen vs overmatch, not having an octagonal citadel vs more 50 mm plating on bow and stern) for being one of the best at T9 imo. People may not like it, but this is kinda what peak T9 BB performance looks like, at least within the tech tree.
If WG would just let the center turret turn 360 Izumo would be so much better.
If WG would give the Conqueror 57 mm deck, it’d be also much better. But I don’t think Conqueror needs it or deserves it, nor is the Izumo really in need of further buffs.

Got my first Kraken Unleashed in my Massachusetts this morning! Nuremberg, Monarch, Aoba, Kidd and Lexington (in that order). Plus 3 Close Quarter Experts! (But that’s to be expected with the Massachusetts, too).

It easily farms damage indeed. I don’t feel like I’m easily farmed in my Yamato though, unless I give easy shots in my citadel. Might be due to Yamato being like the most HE proof BB in high tier apart from the Musashi.
Also, you could use spotter plane. While Izumo range isn’t terrible, it helps and reduces the amounts of time you fire blind over obstacles. Fighter may seem more useful vs CV, but frankly, staying with AA ships kind of helps more. Fighter only shoots down 3-4 planes out of a 9, leaving you to be decimated by 2 waves of attacks still, if your AA is not up to the job.
So of I have to HE pen it in a Cleveland, I need ifhe for sure??!!
Have you seen ichase on the izzy? He plays as a stern chaser.
