  1. It seems like both Expert Marksman AND Basic Firing Training are required for this. Kinda like for Aigle, so at least it’s consistent.

    • Agreed, I unsubbed a while back and just stick with Flamu video’s these days. Sadly Youtube recommend this video to me and I fell for the bait. 🙁

    • David Blackman no one is hating on Notser you muppet. Notser makes money on YT and other ways. We all get that he needs to make money.

      The ads, using WG material to promote a 3rd party, are simply cheesy and annoying.

    • I didn’t mind the advertisements too much, but it was annoying when they got in the way of the gameplay (I think it was the carrier preview that it was really in the way of? But it might have been a different video)

  3. Rate of fire wise I think we have been spoiled lately, Worcester and Harugumo are high DPM ships so we have kinda gotten used to that. Personally if they give the shells a low fire chance drop the base reload by one second and increase the HE damage per shell I think this could be a good template for the French DD line.

  7. The scale is soo off – this giant destroyer is almost as huge a target as that friendly Bismark Notser almost ran into.

    • Your inability to comprehend camera angles and how distant objects appear smaller lead me to google the specs of each ship on Wikipedia. The French destroyer comes in at an imposing 132 meters, easily beating out its contemporaries in the Kagero and Benson (both under 110m). The Bismark annihilates this impressive length at 251 meters, nearly twice the length of the Terrible. Pausing at 2:54-2:55 is the most clear shot of the two vessels, obviously displaying the proper scale of both.

  8. Speaking up for old school IJN torpedo boats it doesn’t bother me at all that the ship has a slow standard reload. Oh? It’s not fair? It needs to be faster? Tell that to the slow firing IJN…

    • Dan Darling i think you forgot that theres 2 DD line… Torpedo boats and gunboats(not much of a gunbost line until you reach akizuki onwards)

    • I think he didn’t forget it – just because split line with 3s base reload on top tiers exist does not change the fact that main line still have their guns… well…. slowly reloading 😉

  9. this thing looks larger than Tashkent and that destroyer is already a giant, i think this ship needs heal more than a reload booster

    • Smaller than Tashkent. Tashkent is now second largest destroyer in the game at 139m, second only to Harugumo’s (RIDICULOUS) 152m.

To be fair those RQL advertisements are badly placed, just as you start talking about something, you just throw it in a cheeky way, why not just do it at the start like “This video was sponsored by X”, it really knocks me out of focus when you throw something out like this. Though, other than that, all’s good.

  15. I’ve said this before, but this crap is so situational that I’m yet to use it in my Charles Martel. In exchange the 100% of my game (since I don’t get to use the boost) has been nerfed with that 1sec longer reload. In short, it’s BS.

    • 1 second is a tiny nerf.

    • I’ve used it on my Henri a lot. I find it useful for…
      1) Setting fires
      2) Getting cits on broadside cruisers
      3) Hitting DDs that are spotted
      I never use all the consumables, but I can usually use 2 or 3 in a battle. I’ve found it’s best to just use than rather than waiting for that perfect moment. You might die in the moment you need it, but you should deal enough damage before that to make it worth it.

    • 1 second is not much, but it’s a nerf nonetheless. I would have prefered to have two sets of guns, one with the original reload time and no consumable option and another one nerfed and with the consumable option. Those who want it can research it. I’d bet not many would.

  17. I could understand, that some sponsoring is needed, but that RQL advertising, in every Videos, is really annyoing to me.

  18. I’d much rather have a normal reload at 4.5 to 5.0 seconds, than that Reload Booster “Gimmick”. But that’s just me.

    ps…whats the steering gear made of…cheese?? (every engagement, the rudder and engine are the first to go…V dangerous with the current “run from radar” required DD game play)

  20. They killed the French DD line when they decided to add this reload booster gimmick by nerfing their standard ROF to the ground.
    I had hope when i saw that the Aigle had its max 12 rpm of ROF but now…… Who the hell in development thought it was a great idea ?
    Remove that stupid consummable and give back their 5 second reload !
