While it’s very easy for me to say this, but as you’ve had the mic issue before, should you start making a checklist of things to go through before you start recording? It can be a thing that evolves, gets added to or things removed. Just takes some of the human/non-human errors out of the equation before you start. And doesn’t rely on you remembering, as it’s all written down.
Also, if you’ve recorded a load of gameplay and not got the mic working, could you just record a commentary over the top? Me not understanding the recording process does mean this might not be possible.
For the second point, if the games had been especially interesting, I may well have still used the footage. Otherwise it was easier just to start over.
Oddly enough the German 15 inch guns were the original main guns for the Kronstadt hull, not the 12 inch guns Kronstadt herself gets. Sevastopol represents a modernized version of the original plans for Kronstadt
Stalin did buy German 15-inch guns for the Kronstadt, because the Soviet gun foundries could not construct the originally intended 12-inch guns in time. These 15-inch turrets were the ones that had been built to upgun the Scharnhorsts, but that project had been put on hold due to the war. I vaguely recall that the German turrets had actually larger dimensions than the Kronstadt’s hull would allow, so the whole project had to go back to the drawing board again. And then Germany invaded, so the turrets were never delivered anyway .
Well that is wacky indeed.

Idea to make Gib playable, ditch smoke for radar, give it HE, give it a super heal its less well armoured than goliath after all and give it a MBRB that should make it alright.
One to avoid I think…
Churchill before he became PM proposed 9.2″ armed heavy cruisers, some preliminary work was done and 3 quad or 3 triple turrets where the main concepts.
It’s to bad. I weirdly like the look of it for some reason. But it’s not like I’ll ever have the research points to need to worry about it anyways!
