3 Second reload, on 12 203mm Guns. GAWD DAME! DATS ALOT OF DAMAGE! 12 x 5 is 60,000 CITADEL DAMAGE, so 20,000 damage if you get nothing but pen hits.
I’m proud of this . Illinois is now my best BB in that game 😂. DM with a BB hull. That’s so powerfull even if the shells ballistic is awful…
I got Illinois week after she came out , I have never came past 300k , first battle 180k , best 223k , but I dont play her in random , she is awesome in co-op just great tool to make WG missions , W.Virginia I grinded in 2 days , playing Illinois & Colbert , in my opinion Illinois is first RB ship that someone should get , just great tool . o7

Just got this yesterday and really love it
I was the only tier 8 in a tier 10 game my clunterpart on the other team was a tier 9. And i got annilated by a montana in the first 10 mins
The Iowa class design with quad 203mm auto loading guns does exist. The only thing different from the one in the game is the real design had Montana secondary guns, not Iowa ones.
I love my GA, always had good games.

I’ve been killing it in asymmetric battles with my Illinois 3 second reload with 12 DM guns = melted ships
I just want to point out, from a few DM games, at long ranged, the AP can do some very silly things, like citadel BBs through their deck. I’ve noticed it the most on thunderer’s, I don’t know if there’s something wrong with their model or what, but yeah. Doesn’t work on carriers, though, the flight decks are shockingly resilient.
Those 8 mm shells really rack up some damage LOL
lol… I looked at the “non-penetration” counter and it kept growing. Blessed way to break ammunition that Ship
Illinois needs another turret, plus torpedoes and a flight deck.
I have to say that save from the bad terrain geometry at the end, there can’t be anything more WG-like to turn that game around
