I got the scarlet thunder as my first random bundle so i thought it was pretty worth, $8 tier 9 premium. keep up the great work sea lord!

i go S. Thunder at my first bundle, i paid like 4EUR for a TIER 9 prem, I didn’t care if it wasn’t AMAZING.

The Caspian Sea _Monster,_ actually.
The Duncan and the Scarlet do have some other differences based on looking at your video. The Duncan has different main gun mounts that offer a 6 second faster turret traverse, a lower max dispersion, and 35mms more of armor pen for her HE. Another thing I spotted is that the Duncan has 155mm single purpose secondaries while the Scarlet has 133mm dual Purpose secondary batteries (which give her a better AA rating) (This is just from what I saw in the video. Not sure if your Duncan is stock so the numbers may be a bit different from what I was able to see.)
Also, Its the Caspian Sea Monster camo, and I think it looks great, but taking a Soviet Russian Plane that could fly using ground effect and making a camo for a British Battleship(cruiser?) is kinda bold and weird to me. I would love some of these kinds of camos to be Linkable camos like the 5 epochs camos so we can choose a ship for them. This camo on a Leningrad goin 53kts would be FIRE lol
I got ST in 4th bundle and I did a full AA/Sec build (just because that was the spare modules I had) and I played it all day yesterday (because the bonus mission). I got detonated by superships a couple of times but that aside had a blast! I like it’s speed, maneuverability and started lots of fires. I think 7/10 fair 😉

Is she had a super heal, she would be pretty good also her guns are apparently the same as those in the lion, not the Duncan – the rest of her is visually the same as Duncan

I don’t think I’ll get this ship, already have the Lion (very good in my opinion) and am getting close to the Duncan. I’ll see if I can pick up the Leipzig because she looks quite interesting.
the lack of torpedoes is kinda sad, the British battle-cruisers at tier 9 and 10 get insane Alpha of 29k damage per torpedo, with them having less then one minute reload times. while Duncan has 26mm bow and stern plates, i find that even if ships over-match your bow, many ships don’t get bow on citidels, the pen damage can be restored with the super-heal, and its slim hull from my experience at long and medium range is hard to hit.

Mine was in the very first bundle. Took me a minute to realize I was going to get a tier 9 BB for 2000 dubs. Practically free! Don’t usually get that lucky…
LOL after watching this I checked and found that the Scarlet Thunder was the first random bundle so I grabbed it for the low price of 2,000 dubloons.
I saw two in a game today, I was wondering what that thing is. Put 6 torpedos into one from my Balao, it sunk immediately. Oh well

Hey sea lord, could you do a vid on the best secondary ship in each tier from 6 to 8? Would help a great deal to us who wanna keep brawling.
Thanks for the review. I will just get the Duncan when I get enough credits together. I got plenty of XP on the ROOKE to get it. Been focusing on the German BC line lately.
What you do notice is that the HE pen on the S Thunder is capable of penning German Premium T9 cruiser belt amour, while the same cannot be said of the Duncan. Which also means all deck armour can be penned on battleships which is very interesting in terms of the ability of the ship to do HE pen damage if you can avoid BB main guns and hit the deck. Lack of super heal and torps, means this ship isn’t one for close combat. Need to do a cit compare between duncan and S Thunder to really appreciate the difference between these ships.
It’s available in the Premium shop and with the 30% coupon it seems well worth it.
