    people not playing the game how it should been played are in my opinion the todays problem. Which BB is shooting DDs? Which CL/CA is using radar/hydro if the ship
    can not do damage itself? Which DD is spotting and going for the caps? aso. Yep, I will not forget the player going for damage instead of doing the “teamplay” thing …
    The team having the best “teamplayer” often steamrole the other team. The ships used are not important. Every ship has its counterpart. Where you can see all of this
    individual playstyle is in ranked games – saving the star …….

  2. 1 step to fix fire… diminishing returns… done, once something is burnt to a crisp it wont catch fire again there is no fuel to feed the fire. change the 4 skill commander skill fire prevention to enable this. it will also force the HE spammers to focus someone else once they get no damage from saturation and fire prevention.

  3. I agree, reducing the duration of fires would be the ‘easiest’ fix as they burn for too long and its just too damn easy to be set on fire. And you know what ALWAYS happens. Put out 2 fires. Next hit, 3 fires. FML. And I say this as someone who plays cruisers and BBs. Fires are too powerful.

      Steven Cross what’s even worse is that fires last 50 sec on bb (with no flag or skills), which is just ridiculous

      Superstructure should have a HP of its own once there are no more left the HE and fires won’t do any dmg let’s say Bismarck of the total of 69k 20k+/- are the superstructure when that’s gone the Hull shouldn’t be damaged any more by fire or HE hitting it. (The superstructure)

      There is no point in pushing in if the team won’t be there to help. We’ve all seen games where half team is going ahead and half is staying in the back than the ones that pushed are overwhelmed by the enemy team and the 2nd half gets seal clubbed. And it happens so often that most BB players won’t even consider pushing and at T8,9 and 10 ships like Smolensk gives them even more reasons to camp. I mean with teamplay it’s possible to counter such ships but we talk about utopian ideas here.

    And what did flood time nerf? Now flooding’s on par with fires and while yes, CVs are less of an issue when they flood you, torpedo boat DDs got hit hardest, because in the past, setting up a flood was one of the ways to actually get damage, especially when using TRB. And we all know, those IJN torp boats needed a nerf, right? Isn’t like the Shima line is among the worst high tier DD lines. Buffing damecon will basically just hit all the ships that get a good bit of their damage from DoT, so basically you are looking at IJN and French cruisers. Is that warranted? I do not think so. Balancing damage control around the worst offenders without taking the big picture into account is how WG screws over balance like GZ.

  7. Well i am CV main, so pushing is really not my thing, but introducing new HE spamming ships affects me too, as these ships have stupidly strong AA. They are not fun to play against regardless on your ship.

  8. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the best way to counter this HE spam BS is for WGing to introduce a cool down mechanic for cruiser and destroyer guns. In real life those guns would be red hot ready to blow up if they fired as often as they did for as long as they do. Making a mechanic where after so much firing they have to slow down or stop to allow for the barrels to cool down would be perfect to cut down on spamming.

    • It wouldn’t work because those classes to a large extent rely on DPM to do damage. If what you are asking for were implemented, overnight no one would play them.

    • ok..but then remove cita from all cruisers..because overmatch mechanic is so balanced and fair… cruisers get citadels from all angles and ranges….so fun..
      and just dont try that old song..just avoid…or dontshow brodside…

    • @Maros Kabi Cruisers of late seem to be immune from cits and more prone to being overpened. I know we only remember the times we were blapped. But the next time you play a cruiser be conscious of the times where you should have died but didn’t. You’ll find it happens more often than you think. I fired 6 guns into a broadside Mogami 4.3 Km from my Kremlin this week and only got 5K damage 5 were overpens and heaven knows where the other one went. Seems to already implemented to me

    • how about have the higher dpm like the new aa cool downs.. get 10 -12 seconds of higher rate then same of lower rate.

  10. If the terrain could be destroyed than people could alter the “lob zones” as the battle goes on. Five ships hiding behind an island would come to an end.

  11. When I play BB’s I tend to  push when I can sometime when I shouldn’t,  and then just get hammered when team backs out. It sucks when I cant even see where the shells are coming from and cant shoot back. Do something about fires or Damage Control.

Yeah right, they wanted BBs to push in and then they released ships like Smolensk, Kitakaze, Harougumo, wooster, Cleveland etc try to push in a BB when the opposite team has 2 Smolensks, you gna burn in an instance and if you finally make it to their sides and fire at them full broadside they gna mock you cause u got 5 overpens and a bounce from 10 klms away!

  17. Good light cruisers (besides Atlanta) are the Dallas and my fav Konigsberg. I’m actually fine with the game as it is right now. You just have to adjust.

  18. This video is what the “Something Has To Change” video should’ve been. That video came across like a rant about how BBs get picked in by the mean CAs & DDs (I’m sure not the intent), whereas this is a more measured, thoughtful and constructive video.

    The thing for me as a CA main; there has to be a way for me to do consistent damage and pose a threat to BBs who often see CAs as a Dev-Strike opportunity. Fire is currently that threat. It probably could do with adjusting for more refined balance but too much in the other direction and CAs become largely pointless or even bigger island huggers (A meta I despise with a vengeance).

  19. How about an even simpler fix, lower the fire chance by 2 -3% across the board? The repair party once activated should also be effect if for longer.

  20. I love cruisers and I agree the new HE spamming cruisers are a little too much even against other cruisers.
