I remember never giving the Arizona a chance when I first got it. Started playing it more and now it’s one of my favorite ships to play
Kind of think West Virginia might be better tbh. Very similar in most respects but has 16″ overwatch at T6.
@Joshua Don’t have that ship yet so I can’t argue.
Arizona’s guns for me are more comfortable than WV41.
@Dick Sy true, but WV punches straight through the armour of most T5-T6 BBs and a lot of T7s also. I’m not definitively saying it’s better, just wanted to put the thought out there.
Ise, Mutsu and Warspite are also great T6s.

Something to point out about warspite that noone talks about is that she has a cruiser DCP
Agincourt I received in some random crate that WG threw at me. Indianapolis I’ve had for a long time. Same with Arizona. Warspite I received when starting, after hitting level 6. I don’t have Ark Royal, but I might consider it if they brought back the “Unsinkable Sam” cat to walk around on Ark Royal, Bismarck, and Cossack?
I think Perth would make for good addition to this list.
Absolutely.
On the rare occasions where there’s a ranked or clan battle season at tier 6, the Perth is easily one of the best light cruisers. Creeping smoke is legit, especially when there’s no radar.
Just don’t get caught alone in Agincourt because it has _NO_ AA and red CVs will think it’s Christmas.
The Agincourt will always be my baby. I picked her up when i was still fairly new to the game and she has been with me through thick and thin, even landed me my frist ever ranked Kraken back when ranked was in Tier 5
I was very lucky that when the 3 free battles of Jutland containers gotten in combat missions. I got the agincourt camo in the first and got the ship itself in the third free one.
Those were the good ol ranked days. GCs, Agins, and OktRs battling it out with no CVs or subs to worry about.
But the agincourt is still pretty new, isn’t it? Just got moved from containers to normal sale too. Or am i getting old? Lol
@DaStatGuy yeah it is, relatively speaking. She only got introduced into the game 2 years ago.
The Swordfish onboard Ark Royal weren’t obsolete trainers Sealord, they were the front line CV light torpedo bomber for the Fleet Air Arm. They were produced into 1944 and the last Swordfish unit wasn’t disbanded until 1945.

@Richard Champion Plus the Italian navy got some special treatment from the Swordfish in 1940–a strike that gave the IJN some inspiration.
Technically the Swordfish had been replaced by the Fairey Albacore in 1941, but production of the Albacore was delayed by engine shortages so the Ark Royal never got round to having her Swordfish squadrons reequipped.
I didn’t think I’d have any of these. But yay for Ark Royal!
Quite a good list and good on you for showcasing the lower tiers.
There are some excellent DDs in this category, at T5 the Hill and Okhotnik are fun to play and the latter works great for those missions where torp hits are needed. The Hill takes more skill but the guns are very good and the torps, though distance-challenged, can often be used to great effect.

I can vouch for the Okhotnik, but the Hill I’m not so sure about. You get a minimal DPM increase over the techtree Nicholas, and in return you get one less set of launchers, less HP, and significantly worse concealment. I guess if you need a tier 5 USN DD without needing a dedicated captain…
One of my fav DDs is the Fr. Aigle at T6.

Arizona is a lot of fun to play. Slow reload and speed. Always watch were your going with it because you do not ever want to have it collide with land. It will take forever to get it reversed and away again. But man, when it’s guns connect, it absolutely punishes any ship that was stupid enough to show you a broadside. Really good AP.
Great video as usual. I had everything on your list except the Indianapolis which I picked up today. What a hidden gem. The guns are excellent. I just hope someone picks up my crew if I get torpedoed though…
Would you do a video on the upcoming season 22 clan battles and focus on the superships (only 1) verses the restricted ships (only 1)?
Agincourt is downright terrifying for most DDs in her tier. Let down by her snail pace however.
I do really well with the Cali and it’s pretty fun, I find it to be a really great ship unless I’m facing a t9
Agincourt is a beaut – as long as you are on a small map, get uptiered on a large map, and your are lucky to engage anyone as she is slow as wet week. Warspite can only say good things about her.
