Because when you have to both take and do ALL the damage, you can do a lot worse than the USS Georgia.

6:15 – “he won’t be doing that again in a hurry”
Are you sure about that.
Well, at least for the rest of that game.
That is quiter talk!
He will try again until he is finaly proving everybody wrong telling him the previous 42 and following 69 times it did not work!
Is that a challenge?
@biscuitninja I think it is xD.
Surprised Jingles didn’t mention that the Farragut sank the Udaloy.
@Gareth Fairclough fun fact, the tier two Japanese destroyer could actually get close enough to spot the tier 10 a few years ago while remaining undetected.
I know. I remember the old Ichase vid where he terrorised a Yamato (or something) in his Tachibana. Or was it the other t2 destroyer? Can’t remember now!
@Gareth Fairclough the one im thinking of was i think the umikaze?
@Gareth Fairclough oh i also meant we were spotting the tier 10 Japanese destroyer without getting detected. it was hilarious watching him panic as he ran around.
Umikaze, that’s the one.
Ichase was just running rings around this T10 battleship in his Umikaze xD
“as much use as an ash tray on a motorbike”
lol
I take it you’ve never heard that one before.
It’s an oldie but a goodie.
Like, “As useful as a screen door on a submarine”.
@Mats Karlsson LMAO!!!
@Iam Bob yeah I actually started typing this on out then read yours’s… but yeah a screen door on a Sub is a good one also.
@Vanguard Actual 1 As useful as tits on a bull. 🙂
I think i’ve heard Jingles use this one before.
Come-on Jingles, you’re giving the Seattle a bit much credit there; you just know he was trying to panic repair when he fumbled and turned on his radar.
Thermal Ions That’s what I thinking too LUL
When using your face on the keyboard things happen.
Face? I think Mr Seattle SAT on his keyboard accidentally.
Jingles: most damage done by far.
Panzerknacker: hold my sausage and beer
Oo-er.
When Jingles says Gneisenau I hear Agonizer. Is it only me ? 🙂
Well, it is pretty agonizing to watch your friends die to all the ships you couldn’t sink with your pathetic 6x380mm guns…
I was in my Tirpitz on this map the other day. I noticed three BBs coming down the middle and no one taking action on them. It was two Lenins and a Vladivostok. With a little help from a DD and some others that were at medium range, I was able to get all three kills.
I saw that battle saddly those morons went towards middle ignoring my calls to get back !!!
In a co-op the middle is always fun, specially in a Gneisenau or Scharnhorst.
You ram the lead DD, you pass the following cruiser and torp+sink it, then you pass the BB on the other side to torp him, when you enter the cap cycle you turn and sink that BB with your guns before you get sunk by the rest of the red team.
@BigLBA1 and then you wake up …
Some of those ships were two tiers or more lower, no wonder he racked up the points. Everytime im in in the Georgia all I get is tier 10 ffs.
You must have some of my Luck… ” If I didn’t have bad luck, I wouldn’t have any luck at all”? I am referring to you being stuck in Tier 10 game lobbies every time you take your Georgia.
The thing is, lower-tier ships tend to have less HP.
@RedXlV Yeah but he could overmatch, I think, 3 tier 7 BBs from the front and he had them all to himself. That’s a lot of hp already when you consider the heals they can use. Makes it 100x easier to farm damage whrn it doesn’t matter what part of the hull you hit.
“Being as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike.” Pure genius.
Well, that was terrifying. If I see a Georgia in the future, I’ll make a point of killing it as fast as I possibly can. That is a very frightening battleship.
Well, it’s terrifying when all the enemy ships are two tiers lower than it and also not shooting back and giving full broadside inside of secondary range and missing their torpedoes by a country mile
It’s not, actually. Very squishy and it’s built around some gimmicks that aren’t easy to exploit
Judging by how an enemy called out the Seattle at 2:41 they may have made a prior arrangement with some enemy players before the match to meet in the middle.
possible, but unlikely, or arent random matches set up by RNG? i mean how likely is it with all the players in WoWS to get 1 specific ship on the enemy team? or do i miss something here?
@ɳɐɸɱɣ Ɖᴙσאϵ I would say it is more likely that they have seen this guy go full potato down the middle before.
that sounds more likely lol, he seems to be hell-bent on trying it, prob as Jingles says, after he saw Flamy do it so smoothly ROFL
that seems more likely indeed, he seems to be hell-bent on trying it >_< prob, as Jingles said, after seeing Flamy doing it so smoothly ROFL
@ɳɐɸɱɣ Ɖᴙσאϵ In WoT before they added free platoons a mate of mine and I would drop into the queue at the same time with the goal of getting in the same game. This worked about half the time.
I don’t come for the game – I come for the narration, Jingles has a way of making paint drying sound interesting . . . cheers from Canada
“BB 15 USS Georgia, which was a Nevada Class Battleship.”
Wait…that doesn’t sound right. Looks it up to refresh memory.
Oh Jingles, never change. USS Georgia was a VIRGINIA CLASS.
*Shotgun cocks*
@Paul Drive Is that a shotgun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see Jingles upload?
7:17
Nagato giving broadside or not he is going to eat A LOT of damage anyway
this match was an overmatch fiesta for him any way
and don’t forgot that the Nagato stil has his A-hull mounted
@Peter Bakker yeesh…
408k is only the highest damage done by a Georgia on the EU server. Someone managed to get 433k on the ASIA server.
Still, it’s pretty impressive.
408K is impressive in any ship
I managed 311k in a 7v7
i made 12k once-was pretty proud of that
Why all the complaints on the Seattle? He was very useful as cannon fodder, diverting all enemy fire, at the crucial late game.
I love your “as useful as x” analogies. I got one for ya: “as useful as a screen door on a submarine”.
@OmegaReaver
Tits on a nun
Balls on a priest
A knife in a gun fight
Tits on a zombie ‘s my favorite 🙂
Rubber crowbar
As useful as a condom in a Nunnery! ..or
As useful as a shaking hand held battery powered ‘device’ in a Nunnery!
…I’ll get my coat.. runs away very fast, with the sound of scampering feet receding into the distance.
From MASH – “As useful as a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest”.
Right before the Seattle died, he had been looking for his radar. He was bending over to check the bedside table, when his girlfriend pointed at his ass and said: “What’s that in your back pocket?”
,o> Good job sir.
[just friends now]
7:07 “The Seattle, which is the only ship on the team capable of shooting at any of these enemies, isn’t shooting at any of the enemies…” tracer and rounds coming across the screen from left to right….. To be fair he hadn’t been but I’m not sure they’d been in range, he was camping the corner, and in the best way moved out of his camping position just as things got in range when the corner might have been useful…. Pushing up the middle I don’t think was a bad idea for the Seattle when he did it – there is some cover in there and his only other option to get at the enemy was to go a long way around the sides, he shouldn’t have come out of the end like he did though…. The Colorado was over extended but having realised that had no other option being so slow but to die well so…. Hsienyang wasn’t an issue for the Gneisenau – he was capping in A as they were approachign the enemy Georgia. Impressive damage total!
I just LOVE when Full-Potatoe-players like the Seattle in this match just happens to get showcased in a Jingles video because another player like Assaka had an amazing game. This is the higher tier playerbase in a nutshell, some few great players that actually learn and evolve between every game and then there is the mayority which are glue eating window lickers like the Seattle who gets carried up the ranks/tiers in both random and ranked by the first ones.
These players are what is wrong with this game! Silly pathetic crybabies that act like infants when someone took their favourite toy away.
To Assaka, great game, buddy!
