I meant to ask: How does it compare to the tier 9 tech tree ships in the US cruiser branch? I’m currently on the Buffalo and about to unlock the Seattle as well so would be interesting to hear how you rank them contra the Tulsa.
Slightly disappointed that you didn’t emphasize how good the concealment is on this ship. 9.5km when built is very good for the tier, even the Neptune which is a light cruiser has worse concealment. Also, comparing it to the Salem and DM is quite unfair, since those ships are (in my opinion) the probably the best heavies in the game. Range mod vs Reload is always a debated topic when it comes to US heavies, its depends on player preference. Open-water gameplay with the US heavies is actually not a bad idea, they’re pretty flexible ships aside from the turret traverse. I do agree about everything else though, and congratulations on the 30k subs, good review!

I was in the Carnot in this game. I was surprised that we ended up winning but you performed very well in the Tulsa. Good game.
Also has anyone noticed that Sea Lord’s intro has been cut short for last few weeks?
I have played about 20 games so far in Tulsa and have been very happy with her and do not regret getting her. She is not perfect but is fun to play. I prefer Main Batt Mod 3 over Fire control mod. Would rather have the faster reload over the extra range. She is a blast when you get to be top tier.
