+Tain Peacock nope, they buffed USN CV by giving their fighters more ammo
(Really? Was anyone complaining about USN fighters?), they buffed Furutaka
scout range (because that was what was holding it back :P) and as I was
talking about greatly nerfed IJN torpedo bombers to the point where you can
barely hit anything with them. After patch 3.1.2 I wont be playing IJN CV
until this, which is just the tip of the iceberg of carrier issues, is
solved.

into CBT *if* you are willing to shell out just a little cash. If you head
to any of WG’s websites and go to the Premium Shop there are 4 bundles that
will grant access on purchase. Yeah, I know, buying into a test phase and
all that, makes ya eyes roll lol, but it is an option 😉

It’s already balanced. You can still deal a lot of damage in a tier 3 in a
tier 5 match.

still, the torpedoes that it will use are american, and you know, those
torps are crappy. and it only has 3 launch tubes as far as i understood, so
3 torpedoes at most that you have to dodge. also the thing has to get
pretty close to you to fire them off and they’re slow.

short range but gives her a chance to kill ships once in range.

and once it’s in range, it’s already spotted and most likely already taking
fire. and if it’s spotted, then that means they’re most likely aware that
it’s there and will try to escape it, and since it can only do 20 knots,
it’s very hard to be able to get the torpedoes in range. and as soon as
they start running away, you’ve lost them and they’re not something that
you can try and kill anymore.
but they still see you and can very easily still shoot you.
