That homing without a Ping happened to me 2 times. One time I had even repair runing. It also happend to Flamu.
I saw a clip of Flamu having a torp that overshot a teammate home straight into him

Yeah it happened to me too. Repaired the sub ping and they still continued to curve towards me… Scary thing really
One theory is that the torp is still homing into an ally that is behind or even in front of you. Maybe all of a sudden the sub pinged an ally that cause the torp to turn straight to you.
@TrungPurpVN look at Flamu video. It is not posible… I think ping is not showing and ignoring R. We know there is a big posibilety subs make secondery bug. So finding another sub bug is nothing strange…
talking Subs, i wonder what happens if a pinged ship runs full speed into a island annd keep going. Will the Torps home to the position it is or the position it would be if there was no island?
Torps don’t know if there is land ahead, they try to intercept their target based on targets speed. So you can go full speed towards an island and sometimes have torps slam into it if you are on the other side, but if you run aground that means your speed dropped to 0 so they will start to adjust and drop the lead and go straight for you. If you happened to be on the side of the island which is the one they are coming from they will probably hit you.
