Napoli was doing maybe 1K each second to that Vermont, so if he would not shoot main guns from smoke, that Vermont would have been hopefully done when Napoli smoke went off. Napoli can easily keep proper distance undetected thanks to that italian smoke.
CV proper tactics to drop goodies on sub is get within ASW range but keep out off direct line of fire, behind island and get sub spotted by planes, once sub runs out off air (gets on air, xd).
But it’s all excuseable, the match was nice anyway and we got such telling for the mistakes done:
“Everybody is general when the battle is over.”
CV left me with open mouth also 😂
