This is a bit concerning for the battlepass, if most players spent 2500 dubs for a BP then half of the player base would get the full sum of what they spent and the other unfortunate half gets half the amount. Are they gathering angry mobs? Honestly, if they want to keep the player base with this BP, it would be better if all players can get back the 2500 dubs they spent, and recycle it for next months BP. Aside from other event/s they get shitload of money.

Gambling means, the outcome is not known. Here you know what you get, before you decide. It’s just a bit “unfair” but not gambling.

Paid 3,200 Doubloons for the 2 phase pack, it gave me close to 40,000 Coal. Thank you for letting me know about this. you got me as a new subscriber.
It surprised me that I would get all my dubloons back. Spent 10 minutes looking for the catch.
I am on the EU server, i can get back only 50 % dobloons.

Yes RB points haven’t been available through anything but line resets for at least 2 maybe 3 patches now. Makes me glad I finally was in a position where resetting my IJN torp DDs once was enough to finally get Ohio. Outside of doubloons RB are without a doubt the most expensive resource in the game. They were even when they throwing small amounts in through Battlepass or Dockyard now that’s doubly true.

I personally hate new BP progress compared to old one , in the old system you could simply catch up the Process if you misses for a week and have much more rewarded after BP lv is max
Althe new BP is way worse not only it filled to the brim with Junk the progression are pathetic and over level reward are suck

Asymmetric mode economic stats got nerfed without announcing multiple times. No matter you play objective or 300k+ damage, it’s always like you get 50_60k credits along zero XP
Good. Coop with easy mode shouldnt give credits anyway. Id love to farm credits from coop noobs.
Ya they did that a couple updates ago. Sealord talked about it in a video
300k and 5 kills last night in GK – green booster gave just under 500k. Not as good as before but still a decent credit earner

This is the “we hoped you wouldn’t notice, and we’re going to try to explain it away” treatment. It’s unacceptable in my opinion. If WG wants to test out reward structures on players, fine. But they should be transparent about the fact that they’re doing so without the playerbase starting an inquisition. Anytime information is concealed, or not revealed whether it be in games, work, or any other circumstance, my general impression is that the party limiting said information knows that it won’t be received well. In WG’s case, all they have to do is NOT screw their playerbase, and everyone will be happy. Granted, letting players buy back part, or all of their battlepass through playing is a fantastic move imo, but it shouldn’t be a lottery system, even if it’s just in testing.

WG has literally been doing this for like 5+ years. since basically the puerto rico they’ve been super greedy
While I do agree they should have been transparent about it, it seems like we get an entirely great update, and people STILL find things to complain about. Just take your half refund and coal and suck it up, god damn. It’s still way more than wargaming was giving last battle pass and for a lower price than last battle pass.
@@theuntorpable The thing is that they give a great update, but alongside try to squeeze in an extra scam in hopes that the actually good deals will divert attention from said scam. Scam is never acceptable and people should complain about it. WG is ever trying to see how much they can scam their playerbase and should relentlessly be called out on it.
Got the full doubloons back option, so yeah, I bought it. Also noticed Weegee apparently can’t tell days correctly, their “weekend” missions started on thursday instead of friday and only run through saturday, not sunday.
That’s the week mission if it’s the 25,000 BXP mission in the pass. The weekend one is usually 3 x 7,000 BXP over 3 days. Think they’re just playing/tinkering with it slightly. All these time zones don’t help, think that is another reason why they centre it at EU server.

@@Krazmedic That’s weird, mine started Friday as usual. I am on EU server so don’t know if this has any bearing, it shouldn’t but it might if you’re on either of the other servers.
What i really dislike about the dockyard is, that the missions unlock at certain times.
So i can’t play all the phases with my own pace, i have to wait for the next one to unlock.
That’s exactly why I haven’t completed most dockyards. I have a life, I can do the missions, but not all of them when WG dictates I have to.
It probably hurts them. After all, why bother with any of it if you can’t do the last set in the time period.
I missed Michaelangelo, Somme, Daisen, etc., because I wasn’t in the country for some of the missions.
@@Joshua-fi4ji Well it is the same with the season pass, you can do x amount until you have to wait to return to the game on the next day.
Thats what they want, that you return to the game on a regular basis but that sucks.

Same here. My family is out of town for a week. I could get through all of them before they return, but once they get back, I’m going to be spending my free time with the kiddos. Small price to pay for unconditional love, but why don’t I have both?!?
@@R4ZORLIGHT so they don’t want me to play for 5 days? Because I just completed the first set of missions and the next don’t unlock for 5 days. Seems like WG needs to rethink that, since according to the studies, people pay more if they play more. But I now I have almost no insensitive to play for 5 days. Lol.
I noticed they didn’t mention it in the update notes, but the developers spoke about this in their twitch stream yesterday morning (Day of release for my server). But still very odd!
They still haevnt disclosed one of the most important questions: What were the criteria for choosing who gets what.

Got the 100% back dubs option for the battle pass.
For a few players in my clan with primary and secondary accounts for multi-clan (fleet) operation, the criteria seemed to be “the primarily played account, with the most ships, playtime, and clan battles play… got the full refund one.” The alternate accounts with very little play, despite regular logins got the half refund version… . Or, read another way (if you see the positive side instead of the negative), the newbie accounts that could benefit the most from coal … got more coal… as a potential reward if said accounts were to be played.

On the subject of Golden week/Event Pass i was offered a Full refund of my Doubs, disclosure i bought the pass, also i’m in (NA) server listening to other players in the other servers at other times did make observations on the matter, and you touching on the subject made that clear now to me. Boggzy got called out for this on Wednesday night twitch stream right after he told everyone that you earn all your dubs back for the battle pass. But he glossed over it even after acknowledging the two different bp offers.
a better balance would`ve been steel versus dubs IMHO
I’d prefer research points rather than coal or dubs.
One thing I learned today is that a tier 9 Iowa (Wisconsin) will sink a tier 10 Montana even with one less turret.
