There are only two things you need to know about todays’ video and they’re in the links below, because clicking on them and complaining about predatory gambling mechanics in WOWS to get the age rating raised is the ONLY thing that’s going to make Wargaming.net listen or care.

  1. love ya jingles mate, your not a sell-out and voice yourself even if it means being a Blacksheep

    • Cookie Supervisor

I am sellout … but no one want to pay me any bribes …

    • “your not a sell-out” yeah, sure. I also think he will stop making world of warships videos

    • Everyone’s a sellout for the right price. It’s the world we live in. Also lmao at the “black sheep”, implying being against WG is some sort of controversial opinion, when in fact it’s literally the most popular opinion you can have in this community.

    • @Kronguard QB is an idiot who refuses to diversify and so he is a 1 trick poney

    • If he stops playing and uploading all WG titles maybe his critics will stop saying he is a sell out and hypocritical old man

  2. Jingles just ordered us to do an Order 66 on WG Age Ratings….. Good Soldiers Follow Orders

  3. Complaint lodged. I’ve seen a friend of mine ultimately lose his life because of his gambling addiction. We don’t need this being pushed on kids. Love the game, but holy shit their soul-less greed needs to be stopped.

  4. Jingles playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers

  5. I’ve contacted the Imperial War Museum over this, as they have a sponsorship deal along with terminals in HMS Belfast. If I get no response there, perhaps writing to our MPs about British Naval History being used to promote gambling to 7 years olds might make a prompt action?

    • @Thomas Klinge Not just the video game specialized outlets, go for the big mainstream media, everyone has to know about this.

    • Do it. Just do it.

    • Honestly I wouldn’t go down this route, the museums are probably getting cash from WG rather than the other way round, as advertising it’s a small part of their marketing and the ships/museums need all the cash they can get at the moment, the only thing you’re going to do is make them uncomfortable they literally can’t aford not to for now. It’s like going after small ccs.

    • incorrigible delinquent

Good idea, think I’ll do exactly the same.

    • incorrigible delinquent

      @Ares1967 and Belfast for legends

  6. I took a step further on Sunday by reporting Wargaming to our local gambling authority, as there is a chance that some of their specific lootboxes have been illegal in the Netherlands. Since (especially countries within the EU) have gambling laws and government instances that have to ensure companies abide by them, I would suggest fans to inform these gambling authorities on the matter so they can investigate it for themselves and draw their own conclusion regarding whether or not these lootboxes are illegal.

  7. Jingles we can also complain about the rating in the iOS App Store, google play, ps4 and Xbox stores as well. I can confirm that war gambling is alive and healthy in blitz, the mobile versions

  8. “Have you noticed that this ship…”
yes Jingles, for the last 5 minutes or whatever. It has taken total command of my attention.

  9. Jingles: “Well the only thing we can do is affect the numbers of players coming in.”

Me: *Loads my Toxic Cursing Dictionary and complaints with malicious intent…*

  10. Just sent my complaint as well about the PEGI rating of the game, thank you for bringing this to our attention, Jingles!

It is the least we can do to influence the future of this game in any meaningful way.

  11. Jingles: One step further and you’ll regret it.

    WG: *steps forward*

Jingles: And so, we go to war!

    • Yup
Playerbase: There’s a line you should never cross…We’re asking that you don’t cross it.
WeeGee: Oh, this thing ? [ crosses over line and keeps going ]
Playerbase: So; You have chosen Death…

    • A great meme would be Jungles face on Saruman as he yells TOOOO WAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!

  12. There’s something that would hit Wargaming even harder than getting the age rating on World of Warships raised: if more nations either outright ban lootboxes or regulate them in the same manner as they do casino gambling. The latter meaning that minors would be locked out, and full transparency would be required about the odds of winning.

  13. You do reach newer players still. I only picked up the game a month ago. I still had not spent money but was contemplating it. No longer. Keep up the content.

  14. As an Asian server player, I’m still pissed about the carrier rework. Can’t do shit without getting constantly spotted or hammered with ap bombs at tier 8-10.

    That’s why I stopped playing.

  15. “Welcome to World of Wargambling.”

Almost choked on a pizza roll at that one

  16. Jingles: “Right WG, let’s see that statment then”
    WG: *presents useless non-apology statement*
Jingles: “Ah WG, so you have chosen Death. To war Salt mine underlings!”
Salt mines: *Furious tapping of keyboards to PEGI and ESRB*
