    Damn bro, he did it!!!!

  12. He did it, against all odds

  13. Zao(and really any IJN 203mm) actually has exactly DD dispersion on it’s guns. They all use R x 7.5 + 15, that being the exact formula that DDs use. The Pan-American CLs use the same formula as well.

Adding this edit to say: I’d personally drop Survivability Expert and Incoming Fire alert for CE. Sure that extra HP could save you from time to time(though unless I’m mistaken it didn’t save you once in this entire video), but having that extra concealment helps prevent the damage in the first place and makes your already kind of weak radar less weak.(When I say weak, I’m referring to the 9km range. 9km being not great range for a radar, but it can get the job done as long as your concealment is CLOSE to 9km.)

    • Wish the other line had CL reload

    • @xxxthwagdrakexxx4672

The extra health might not always make a difference but this is a smoke cruiser that can at least somewhat negate the concealment issues with its own smoke or its maneuverability and there are some matches where the health difference literally makes or breaks the game or gives you the chance to farm out 20-45k more damage before going out

    • @@xxxthwagdrakexxx4672 Worcester is not a smoke cruiser though? Also that HP difference is 4500 HP, meaning at best it’s enough HP to take 1 pen from a Bungo shell. That’s not going to make or break a battle, if you were going to die without SE, you would die with SE.

I could go on quite a long mathy rant about SE, but I’ll save both of us the time by saying, its overall just not worth the 3 points unless you are in a cruiser that actually has armour. Worcester is not one of those cruisers.

    • @xxxthwagdrakexxx4672

@Stephen__White  you act like overpens don’t exist or ap/he shells that are of lower caliber than bb shells. And obviously I was only referring to jinan having smoke I shouldn’t have to clarify that for you. Worcester isn’t as easy to citadel either jinan has to use its maneuverability or it eats pens or citadels far more often than the former and it also makes the repairs heal more sometimes by 10-17% which if you can do the math would add up over 4-5 heals particularly if you’re good at dodging and don’t eat more than 1 citadel if that. Also in 1v1 duels it absolutely will help you win it is a straight up advantage than to have concealment in that case and in almost all cases the cruiser with SE wins whether it’s HE slugfests or broadside ap salvos. As a light cruiser you are most dangerous when left alive and uncontested behind islands to expend the enemy dcp and farm damage with a nearly maxed out AR skill that you would not otherwise be able to use in a fair margin of cases. In any case pq couldn’t care less to hear backseat gaming advise (when he was a competitive player so talk about preaching to the choir) at best and at worst you come off as annoying for a perfectly useful skill

    • @@xxxthwagdrakexxx4672 You’re right, lower than BB calibre shells exist, but once you get lower than BB calibre it becomes a DPM race, and 4500 HP isn’t going to make much difference with the DPM numbers in play at top tier.

How was it obvious you were talking about Jinan? It’s not even the only T10 CL with a smoke screen. It also was not the topic of PQs video nor do I think it even made an appearance in the entire video. Nor did I mention Jinan at any point. So how was I supposed to know you were talking about Jinan and not you know, the topic of the video.

Worcester eats far more cits and full pens than Jinan, purely on account of Worcester being a wider ship and having a larger citadel.

Given heals are % based, and the standard Cruiser heal is 0.5% HP / sec, using Jinan(because you seem to enjoy it) as the example, to take SE would net you 22.5 more HP per second on healing over not taking SE. Or to put it another way, it would get you 630 HP more per heal. That is virtually nothing, and has such a low chance of ever mattering it’s pointless to even really mention.

Yes in a flat 1v1 assuming both players are exactly equally skilled, and RNG isn’t in play. The player with SE would win, but here’s the problem with that. Even in the training room you can’t control any of the RNG about the game. The player with SE could get unlucky and be lit on fire more than the player without SE, or vice versa. That also ignores that two equally skilled players, the one with the extra km of detect to work with will get the better first salvo, giving them the advantage for the entire fight.

If PQ or anyone else doesn’t want to read my comments they don’t have to, no one is forcing you to read my comment. I’m not going to sit here and suck PQ off in the comments and not point out ways he could improve builds or alternatives to his builds, even more so where the dude gets shit wrong, and quite often. He’s not Jingles level but in time I imagine he will be. The comments are more for people who are interested in other takes. Even more so where PQ talked about not taking Concealment Expert because he took AA skills, while having 4 points worth of skills that didn’t help him once in the entire video. Thus I offered an alternative that in my opinion is a better build while keeping the AA skills on the ship.

I’m not even saying SE doesn’t ever have a use, just it’s a very niche use for Cruisers. In the cases where that extra 4500 HP would actually change the equation of number of salvos needed to kill you, it’s worth taking. In the case of Worcester it’s rare to find a situation where it would do that. Hence why it’s the skill *I* would drop from the build along side the nearly useless incoming fire alert to have CE. As not getting seen in the first place is better than MAYBE living after you’ve been spotted. Even more so in a radar cruiser.

  14. Peace at last. Wooster dude, my man; legends should also be rested. With all my respect.

  15. I’m not privi to the joke, but listening to you and reading the chat comments sounds fun!. The Ship looks fun to play. Hope you feel good pronto. Thank you Potato Quality.

  16. OH MY GOD IT HAPPENING, EVERYONE STAY CALM
    STAY F*CKING CALM

  17. One of my greatest moments in wows was doing a drifting drive by on a yoshino with a wooster for the last kill of the game, he was joking me in chat about using AP until his health bar disappeared from citadels

  18. He finally did it. God bless him. It’s been a ride!

  19. Appreciate the review. I had Cleveland when she was Tier VI, just now coming up on Worcester. I think playing the ever-increasing number of Annapolis semi-clones has helped me appreciate the changes in play style required for these lightly-armored cruisers.

  20. @clemensrisse6343

Lovely and very relatable replay ❤ Thank you so much
