But this event is used by wargaming to judge possible usage by the players.
We got these scripted event battle thingies (can’t come up with the name right now) as a result of the Halloween event 3 (or was it 4?) years ago.
So it isn’t totally unreasonable to look forward to subs in the main game someday.

It’s not clear for me how the torp reload boosting feature works. Does it have to do something with coming to the surface so you can temporary launch multiple torps?

You say it is hard, but in the replay there were big mistakes made. I guess one must just be a bit more careful about being close while not submerged.
